“I hope so too.” he chuckled. “It’d be the perfect way to end a day at the fair.”

"Oh hey it's our turn to get on" she spoke excitedly as an empty car stopped and the employee went to open it for them
“So it is.” he smiled, letting her get into the car first before climbing in after her. “You ready?”
She smiled a little and watched him sit down next to her "yes I'm so ready for this. " she spoke excitedly as she grabbed his hand
Marcus smiled back and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “I have a feeling you'll really enjoy this one.”
"Oh really? " she said and smiled a him warmly
“Yep.” he chuckled as the ride started to move. Honestly, he was thankful that these seats were only built for two people instead of those larger ones that could hold a whole group.
Maria was looking up at the sky a small smile on her face as the rid started to move
Marcus watched her and smiled softly. She really did look pretty in the light of the setting sun and the way she was beaming at this ride.
Maria laughed a little and shook her head "what are you looking at? "
Marcus blushed at the question, realizing he'd been caught. “Sorry… I just… Uh, the way the sunset was shining on you. It almost looked like you were glowing.” he admitted softly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
It wasn't hard to notice the blush that had appeared on her face "i-oh thank you…. "

Marcus just nodded, still blushing and unsure of what to say. He leaned back in the seat and watched the sky as the ride took them higher.
She sat there quietly fumbling if the bear she had gotten looking down at he lap her blush still as bright as before
Marcus shifted in his seat, noticing her fidgeting. “I, uh… I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable.”
Maria looked up at Marcus "huh? Oh no don't worry you didn't make me uncomfortable at all! "
“Oh. Ok.” he nodded, a little relieved. “Are you nervous about the height then? You just seemed uncomfortable about something.”
"Oh no I just.. I wasn't expecting that answer from you that's all. * she said smiling softly
Marcus smiled back, still a little embarrassed. “Sorry. I just… I couldn't help it.”
Maria looked up at him and smiled" it's okay, thank you…it was very sweet."
Marcus blushed again and cleared his throat softly. “Ok then.” he nodded.
Maria looked bach at the sun with a small smile on her face clinging to the stuffed bear
Marcus followed her gaze as they reached the top and watched the sunset.
Maria smiled and leaned against Marcus's shoulder "this is absolutely beautiful.. "
