(😁 I’m so glad!!! Maria is an amazing character too!)
Marcus may not have been an expert in fashion or style but he was particularly proud of the ”Professional Beach Hunk” sleeveless t-shirt that he was wearing along with some swim trunks, in case he needed to get in the water to retrieve something.
(Aw thank you 🥰)
Maria was wondering all over the place going store to store eventually she went to a market and picked up a few things there before taking everything back to her temporary home
(Np ❤️)
Marcus actually ran into a couple of his friends and got to hang out with them for a few hours as he worked. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence but it was still refreshing for him.
(What to do a time skip?)
Maria spent most of her day lounging around her bungalow sitting outside so she could enjoy the breeze and the sun
(getting there 😉)
Marcus nearly lost track of time before running home to get ready for… Did this actually count as a date? He clearly remembered asking if she wanted to hang out with him today, but did he use the word “date”? He couldn't remember.
He quickly cleaned up and changed into something more comfortable than last night but still nice and headed over to where Maria was staying.
Maria kept on her same clothes seeing them as cute enough for a date she really only had to touch up he makeup as she waited for Marcus to show up
Considering the, once again, beautiful weather, Marcus took his motorcycle so his arrival was hard to miss. He parked in front and was both surprised and relieved that he wasn't late as he turned off the engine and walked up to her door with a small bouquet of flowers in his hand.
Maria was just finishing up when she heard Marcus pull up which gave her butterfly's she smirked and hurried to the door with her shawl wrapped around her she wasn't wearing a lot of makeup a light blush lip gloss and some eye shadow she opened the door excitedly seeing Marcus at the door "Marcus Hi! Your a little early. "
Marcus smiled back when Maria opened the door. “I am? I was worried I was running a little late.” he admitted with a soft laugh. “I can wait if you're not ready yet. Oh, and I brought you these.” he offered as he remembered the flowers, holding them out to her.
"Oh no I just finished getting ready. " she paused when she saw the flowers " oh my god their beautiful Marcus thank you! " she grabbed the gently admiring them "no one's ever gotten me flowers before this is so sweet. "
His smile grew as she accepted the flowers, though despite what she said last night, and just now, he still had a hard time believing that she had been dateless this long. “I’m glad you like them.” he said sincerely. “You look beautiful too.”
"Oh thank you I was a little worried about that you look great… Oh um do you want to come Inside while I put this I some water? "
“Thank you.” he blushed softly. “Uhh, yeah. I mean, if it's ok with you, I can wait inside.” he nodded.
Maria smiled at his blush "yeah I don't mind at all feel free to look around " she said opening the to for him to come in as the looked for a vase
“Alright.” he smiled as he stepped inside, looking around a little. “Thank you.”
"Of course, so do I get any clues about our date? "
Marcus smirked at the question and leaned against the wall. “Depends. What kind of clues were you looking for?”
"Oh I don't know maybe is it indoors or outdoors? "
“Outdoors.” he grinned, enjoying the idea of turning this into a game. At least until they left.
Her face lit up once she found the vase "Hmm well will there be a lot of people? " she reached for the vase filling it with water for the flowers
“Most likely.” he nodded, still grinning.
He hummed thoughtfully before shrugging. “Probably. I’m not actually sure.”
"Well that's no help. " she picked up the flowers putting them in the vase and turned around leaning on the counter "is it on the beach? "
“Sorry.” he chuckled, shrugging. “Umm… No. It's not on the beach, but you can see it and hear it where we're going.” he answered.
