“Wow. Sounds like a good guy. But maybe a little annoying feeling like you have to “live up” to him.” he hummed. “But you're lucky to have a sibling. I’m an only child.”
“Wow. Sounds like a good guy. But maybe a little annoying feeling like you have to “live up” to him.” he hummed. “But you're lucky to have a sibling. I’m an only child.”
"Yeah he is, it can get kinda annoying trying to live op to him but it's not awful. "
“That's good.” he smiled softly. “I almost wish I could have known what that was like. I do have a cousin that I'm close with but it's not quite the same.” he shrugged.
"Sibling love is definitely unique in every way possible and having a sibling can be quite annoying at times but we love each other. "
“So I've heard.” he smiled softly as he lead her back into the parking lot.
She smiled at him hoping to not show her disappointment of going home
Marcus smiled softly back and took her hand. “I hope that you enjoy your summer here and get to visit the beach as often as you want.” he encouraged.
She gave an encouraging squeeze to his hand and smiled at him "I think I will but thank you
"
“No problem.” he smiled back, returning the gesture.
"I feel like I e said this already but I'm glad I met you Marcus your like a breath of fresh air. "
“I’m glad I met you too, Maria. You're an amazing person.”
She blushed almost instantly "oh erm.. I'm okay I guess. " she replied with a soft smile
“No. You're not. The world is full of just “ok” people. You're not one of them. Trust me.” he smiled softly at her blush.
Her blush only darkened at the compliment "you better quit before I let the compliments go to my head, "
“Alright. I’ll stop for tonight.” he chuckled. “Especially since we're going to be spending time together tomorrow too.”
"Ah yes I'll be sure to look my best. " she said with a smirk
“That shouldn't be too hard for you but be sure to be comfortable too.” he advised, smirking back.
"How comfy are we talking are skirts out of the picture? " she asked smiling a bit
“Skirts are fine.” he chuckled. “But maybe no high heels. Slip-on shoes would probably be better as long as you don't loss them.”
"I've got these. " she said holding up her strappy sandals she had bought during her "little" shopping spree
“Perfect.” he smiled.
"Great, I think these might be my favorite so far.. "
(Meep?)
(oops!)
“Good. They… They look nice.” Marcus complimented, a little unsure of what else to say.
(It's okay just didn't want you to forget about me!)
"Yeah…" Maria rubbed the back of her neck she didn't know what else to say either and it felt like the effects of staying up so late started to kick in as she yawned
