Irena shook her head.
"Finn, I can't do it anyways, I don't have enough money, even with all my saved money I don't have enough for the appointments and the prescription." She said sadly.
"I could chip in." Beatrice said "I have about 300 dollars saved up."
"Guys, no, please… I-I can't let you do that, okay?" Finn pleaded weakly. "I'll be fine! We can… we can look into something. It's possible we're still on our parents insurance, which would cover some of that stuff. But I don't know if they found a way to take us off of it since they don't want to be liable for us…"
Irena looked at him.
"Finn, it's okay." She reassured him. "We won't do that without your permission."
"Yeah, consent is everything." Beatrice piped up.
Finn sighed, still looking uneasy and fidgety. "Look… I do want to talk to somebody, and get help or whatever, but that kind of thing isn't so simple for people like me. I would probably have to lie to most therapists about being a werewolf in the first place, even though that's the root of most of my issues…"
Irena smiled sadly.
"I'm sure we could find someone." She said quietly. "There has to be at least one therapist who doesn't mind werewolves."
"Probably, but what are the odds of finding one nearby? It's not like any of us can drive." Finn closed his eyes and flopped back in the beanbag chair.
Irena smiled slyly.
"I can drive, I have my license, I just don't have a car." She told him "but that can be arranged."
"Irena, don't steal a car or whatever for my sake." Finn insisted nervously. "What are we supposed to do if you're in jail, hmm?"
"Beatrice can drive the car, I taught her how to drive." Irena insisted "it's just illegal."
Beatrice laughed and covered her mouth with one hand.
"We shouldn't break the law." Finn rolled his eyes and huffed, crossing his arms. "It's not life threatening or anything. Not worth getting arrested over."
Irena looked at him sympathetically.
"We're just joking Finn." She told him with a smile.
"Oh… right. What's our actual plan, then?" Finn asked awkwardly, looking down at his hands.
"I dunno, you said you don't want to go, so I can't make you go" she said and laid back down.
"I do want to go, it just… doesn't seem possible considering what I am. I don't think there's anywhere nearby that would take me." Finn replied.
Irena raised her eyebrows.
"We'll see Finn, I'll do some research." She said and Beatrice shot her a look.
"Okay…" Finn sighed and lay back on the beanbag chair, closing his eyes. Teagan sprawled out on his back on the floor. "What should we do in the meantime?" Teagan asked.
Irena shrugged.
"I dunno." She said as Beatrice's face lit up.
"We should go swimming!" She said excitedly "in our pool though."
Irena looked at Teagan and Finn.
"That's fine with me." Finn shrugged and Teagan nodded a bit in agreement. "We'll have to run back home and grab our swim trunks, though, so you'll have to wait a few minutes." Teagan got to his feet and dragged Finn with him.
Irena heard the front door close, signaling their depature and stood up.
"So, get dressed." Irena said as Beatrice stared at the wall across from her, when Beatrice didn't move Irena looked at her in concern.
"Hey Bea—"
"Irena?" Beatrice asked.
"yeah?" She responded, worried.
"Do you think if things were different and I was older Finn would like me?" Beatrice asked.
Irena made a face of surprise, she had not been expecting that.
"I don't know Bea…" she admitted "i'm sorry."
Beatrice smiled sadly and stood up.
"It's okay." She said and stood up, gracefully crossing the room and exiting out the door.
Finn and Teagan ran to their house and headed in to change. Their parents weren't there, presumably at work or otherwise occupied. They didn't ever communicate their plans to their sons, of course. The twins pulled on their swim trunks and headed back to Irena's house.
It didn't take them long to get back with towels in hand, just heading straight out to the pool rather than bothering with knocking on the door. "Irenaaaa! Beatrice! We're back!" Finn called up.
Irena came downstairs, again in the Red bikini, a towel thrown over her shoulder and left out the back door, throwing her towel onto one of the five deck hairs near the edge of the pool.
Beatrice came down a few minutes later, looking tired yet happy at the same time.
She was wearing black high waisted bottoms and a light purple top. She threw her towel on the chair next to Irena's, on the left and sat down, laying out in the warm sun.
Irena took off her sunglasses, once again revealing to bruise and sat them on her chair.
Finn had already hopped into the pool by now and was idly floating, which seemed to help him relax somewhat. He just didn't want to think too much after the ordeal in the forest. He yawned and closed his eyes, starfishing on the surface of the water.
Teagan leaned over Irena, staring at her for a minute. "What happened to your face?" He asked after a bit. "Did you get hurt in the forest?"
"No." She said, then mentally scolding herself for saying "yes".
"I just ran into a wall." She said, trying to act casual while lying. "Really hard too, it hurt my cheekbone for like three days afterwards."
Teagan raised an eyebrow, clearly suspicious. "Running into walls is more Finn's thing than yours. Especially head on, and I'm not sure how you'd just get a bruise there of all places. You know you can tell me anything, right?"
Irena nodded and looked away.
"It's nothing Tegan, don't worry about it." She said quietly "I don't want you to wrry about me, i'm supposed to worry about you."
She paused and blinked.
"I don't want you to have more added stress either." She added quickly "you have enough going on Tea."
