He fished his knife out of his satchel, waving a hand over it as he held it out. Starry wisps of smoke poured from his hand to solidify on the knife, turning its blade a starry dark blue

The fire went out and he looked at Abiliene, "Thank you," he mouthed.

She blushed, and looked away.

"Water!" Moraphe exclaimed. "And Vien, what might you be up to?"

Ajax's face was still red from embarrassment. He hated his powers and it appeared they hated him.

“My power is more or less the b-basic form of magic: energy. The perks of this being that I can do everything from summoning to c-creation to complex traditional spells,” Vien explained. He flicked the wrist of the hand that held the knife, causing the starry effect to dissolve back into smoke

“I also have a familiar, though I’m not certain if they’re a-available at the moment,” Vien said as he put his knife back in his satchel. He walked back over to Beau, a smug grin still on his face. “Anyone else want to show off, or a-are you all chicken?” he taunted. He wanted to get everyone else to show off so he could gauge how dangerous they could be if they became potential enemies
