"A built in cloak generator? Like, a good one?" He asked, eyes wide.
"A built in cloak generator? Like, a good one?" He asked, eyes wide.
"Hell yeah! Custom built, adjustable strength based on power needs, and resistant to most scrambling patterns. Even comes with a small bit of processing power if ya need to handle a slightly larger mental load." Brella smiled as she described her handiwork. Those little beauties could fetch a high price on the market, should she choose. But she found herself fond of Mitch, and the words tumbled out before she could stop, "I'll set you up once we get back. My treat!"
He smiled at her. "That's… awesome! Thank you!" He resisted the urge to clap his hands, or jump, or hug somebody. He cleared his throat. "Almost to the ship, just a few minutes away," he said.
Aizen followed warily, melting from the shadows, and actually trailing them normally. He was working on a new technique.
(bumping this up so it doesn't die bc I actually like this RP lol)
(I do too )
Brella smiled as they walked up and on to an old elevator platform that had seen better days. She found herself thinking about how she would install the cloak generator, and what other upgrades she might try to sneak in. She came to realize that as she was thinking, she had been staring right at Mitchell, who gave her a look of confusion.
(Sorry I haven't had any wifi)
"Once we've gotten to your ship, could you fly me to mine?"
Mitchell had been about to say something to Brella, but when Zix (is that the name??? I forgot) spoke, he closed his mouth and looked at Brella curiously.
(Yes that is it)
"What? Oh, yeah! Sure, of course." Brella stammered. She shook her head to clear it, then turned to Jackson, "When does this end?"
(Pushing this up front.)
(sorry, I've been busy)
"The door is right up ahead," he said, gesturing to a small doorway. "This should lead you right to the ships."
"Handy," said Brella, shaking her head once more, "We need to be quiet, but apart from that we should be just fine."
She took the lead, pushing out the doors and smiling upon the sight oh her ship.
The Elizia was a Mk. 7 Herave "Mobile Home." It was equipped with 2 modded 235 autocannons on 360 degree swivel mounts. The shiekds were threadbare by standard, but the reinforced armor compensated. The cargo space was refitted into Brella's workshop. The living space accomodated 7. It was Brella's pride and joy. The reason she lived.
And it was right there.
"Let's go!" She said, already jogging up to her ship.
Mitchell smiled at the sight. "It's beautiful," he said, following right behind her. "Where did you get this?"
Brella popped the cargo hatch, and as she waited she said, "Bought 'er off a human rimworld, while I was running away from Lovutha. She's been my house and home ever since."
The ramp hit the ground with a thud, and Brella walked up into her workshop. It was kept neat, as it had to be when she was on the move. Everything was kept under lock and key. A prototype power core was clamped onto the table.
(Alaria?)
"Can I… go in?" he asked, peering inside.
(I thought you were Brella?)
(My bad. I often get the two mixed up. That was Brella.)
"Yeah, hop on in!" Brella answered, "
Zix walked up the gang plank
Mitchell stepped in, admiring the interior of the ship. He turned to Brella, about to ask a question, when suddenly the sound of gunshots and bullets ricocheting off metal filled the air. The ConTech officers had found them.
Zix jumped off the gang plank and took to the air. She pulled out a black-out (like a bomb to make people pass out) and her gun in case that didn't work. If it knocked out her friends she could always fly the ship away.
Aizen, instinctively let off a volley of spikes, he got a few. Growing spurs on his elbows and knees, and blades on his wrists, he charged in, rather brashly for his character.
Mitchell powered up his arm, firing small lasers from the side. He missed almost every time.
Zix through the bomb, for a second nothing happened, then everyone started dropping to the ground.
