"SURE!" Max yelled, stuffing another towel into a crack in the floor.
(I gtg again I'm sorry)
"Are you done with the yelling?" He asked with his hands still clamped over his ears.
She went quickly to the door, and made her way upstairs.
The door opened slowly, and a pair of amethyst eyes peered into the chaotic apartment. "Okay, I'm here!"
"Hello, are you done yelling?" He said looking at the new person in the doorway with his hands still over his ears.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that," she said, fumbling with the towel in her hands.
"It is not a problem, I do not like yelling," He said lowering his hands slowly.
"Well, if you guys need help up here –" she broke off, then walked forward purposefully and started to sop up the puddle.
"Help is good." He smiled at her, "I'm fixing the pipes, pipes are like veins," He repeated laying back under the sink. "My name is James,"
"I'm Darcie," she replied.
He smiled, happy she didn't offer to shake his hand. He hated handshakes, people squeeze too hard. "Nice to meet yo- I have found the problem," he said cutting himself off, "There is a crack. The water pressure caused the sink to explode."
"Huh? Can it be fixed?" she asked, looking with concern at James.
"We will need new pipes." He said standing up brushing himself off. "That is unfortunate. When veins have cracks people bleed out, I'm happy our sink isn't going to bleed out."
She giggled. "That's an interesting way of looking at it."
"Yes interesting." He tried to smile. That's what people did to show kindness, yes? "Can I offer you some lemonade?"
"Sure! But just a little bit, please."
(I see you have continued without me)
Jay nodded and poured some, he walked it over to her, "Here," He said trying not to make physical contact with her.
(Sorry)
(You were randomly knocked unconscious ;)
"Thanks," she said, smiling.
He nodded awkwardly and took a step back.
She took a delicate sip of the lemonade. Pleased with the taste, she took a larger sip.
