"Yeah, yeah. They are kinda like veins aren't they" she smiled. Amanda headed into the kitchen and turned on the coffee machine. "I have extra money to get new pipes since I picked up a few extra shifts this month"

"Yep?" Max stuck his head out from the bathroom.
"Money is good. I can fix the pipes once we get them, they're like veins." He seemed overly fascinated by their simplicity.
"Yep?" Max stuck his head out from the bathroom.
"You good? Do you have a shift today? You cannot be late again today" she asked. She was basically the mom of the pack.
"Uh……I don't think so." Max thought for a moment. "I do work tomorrow though."
"Question!" He said raising his hand. It was something he had taken to doing so he didn't become annoying.
"Yes?"
"Yes James?" Amanda replied, pouring her coffee and sitting on the breakfast bar.
"Do I need to get a job," He lowered his hand, "You guys have jobs and Amanda picked up more shifts, this insinuates we need money."
"Well it depends if you want to start working, we won't push anything on you you don't want to do?"
"Where would I work?" He said sitting down at the table, "No one wants to hire an autistic kid."
"Well, you could work at a cafe. I have a friend at one and you've met her before. It's pretty easy work"
“Socializing is hard,” he scratched his head, “I am willing to try though,”
"Okay, I can get you an in through my friend. You can chat with her a bit and then shell tell you when you'll start, sound good?"
“Sounds good,” he nodded.
“I made a friend,” he said suddenly.
"Good" she sighed, taking a deep drink from her coffee. She had a day off and was planning on going out to shop but now had to go and get new pipes. That damn sink had now exploded five times and she was about to just get a whole new one altogether.
Patrik knocked on the door.
“Her name is Darcie,” he continued, “She’s outlet neighbor.”
(Our door?)
(There is no door?)
Patrik knocked on the door.
(My door?)
(Yes)
James stood and opened the door. “H-hello,”
"WHY IS THERE SO MUCH WATER IN MY ROOM" Patrik yelled.
