(I HAVE RETURNED WEIRD PEOPLE)
(I haven't left for my game yet!)
(AS HAVE I)
(I'm here!)
(YESYES GOOD)
(Shall we continue? Time is of the essence)
"I mean, is that even news?"
("Want to read it?")
"Sure!" Darcie said happily.
(I have to leave soon)
(Me too. We should hurry)
"Do you need to finish it first?" she asked.
"I mean, is that even news?"
Amanda grabed his collar and brought his face close. She was offended, "Fortnite is a god level shooter game. Please call me once you've found one better then this" she whispered through gritted teeth.
Max blinked. "Oooookay sorry. I didn't know you were so attached to it. My apologies."
"No I do not," He said closing the book, "You can borrow it,"
"exsactly" she said, closing her eyes and not letting go of his shirt. 'I need to let go but he's so close to my face' she thought
"Thanks" she gushed, taking it. "I love to read anything I can get my hands on, and I just finished a book recently, so I can read this right away! I'll take good care of it, I promise."
"I just didn't think that it was like, important enough to be on public news, ya know. "He blushed a little.
"I..it totally is…" she replied, blushing hard. Her hand was frozen
"Hey, whatcha doin'?" Darcie asked Max and Amanda.
James nodded thinking about what Max had said earlier, "You will take good care of it," he reassured more for himself than anything.
Max looked at Darcie. "She's mad at me cus I insulted Fortnite."
"Hmmm…" She tilted her head thoughtfully. "I've heard of that before, but I've never played it."
"Y…yup, v-very, very…" She opened her eyes and they locked eyes for a second, "Angry"
Max flinched. "C-Can you let go?"
James moved over by Amanda, "Do not be angry, it is just game."
