(That is my noise for many occasions)
(It works for indecisiveness, internal suffering, general derpy noises, happy squeals, etc. Only the context can reveal its true meaning)
(I can't make my character at the moment because I'm using my phone, but I can make a guy later)
((Okie dokie, that sounds good! Make your character whenever you have a chance ^^ And we can start now, if everyone is okay with that?))
((Yeeeeee))

(Yes plz)
((LETS GET THIS STARTED THEN!!!!))
Astrid was sitting on the couch, playing her guitar. It was pretty early in the morning, and she couldn't get back to sleep, so she had decided to just start the day. Trying to keep her volume down to avoid waking up her roommates, she continued to play, quietly singing along to the memorized songs.
Jay was in his room, unpacking his small bag of possessions. It really was next to nothing, just some food, water, and cheap clothes. He had only been able to acquire a minimum wage job, and even that was without his parents' permission. He sighed, looking at the pathetic contents of the simple grocery bag.
Maria walked in groggily, rubbing her eyes."Mornin'" She mumbled, walking to the kitchen, still in the oversized shirt and shorts she wore as pjs.
Astrid looked up to see Maria walk in, looking like she just woke up. "Good morning," she smiled, laying her guitar across her lap.
She poured herself a cup of coffee, running a hand through her green hair. "How are you so… awake?" She asked, pouring in some creamer. Or a lot. Or half a cup.
Jay crumpled the bag into a ball and left the room, walking out to where the others were to throw it away. Since he had just moved in, he didn't really know them all that well yet and was a bit wary. At least it's mostly girls… men would be bad. Especially for extended periods of time.
She gave a half shrug. "I don't know myself, you all know that I normally sleep until noon if I can." She absent mindedly started to play a few chords on the guitar. Seeing that Jay had woken up and was walking over, she smiled and said, "Morning Jay!"
She hummed out a good morning around her cup
He flinched slightly at the sudden voice, turning towards the source. Seems friendly enough… "Er, h-hello. Morning."

Noticing that he had flinched at her talking, she inwardly cringed a little and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you."
"N-No, it's not your fault, don't worry about it." God why are you so awkward? "I'm just… kinda jumpy and anxious. Um, new surroundings, you know?"
Grace tumbled down the stairs, "Hi…" She said flat on her face.
She gave him a shy smile. "Don't worry, I completely understand." Jumping slightly at the crash from Grace falling down the stairs, she gave a small laugh and said, "Morning."
Jay jumped at the loud noise and turned to try and find where it came from. He spotted Grace and was at least a little relieved. Must've fallen… I hope that doesn't happen too often…
He adjusted his hoodie a bit, ensuring that his more recent wounds weren't visible. The fabric chafed painfully against them, but Jay showed no outward signs of this pain. His parents had been none too happy that he was leaving and gave him a few painful reminders to remember them by.
"Good Mythical Morning!" Grace said giggling. (Yes I had to do that lol)
