"I dunno. I won't jinx it though." He leaned in, but just to seal his lips against her forehead in a protective kiss.

(Good morning! :D)
Fae found her hands tucked underneath her, pressed against his chest as he kissed her forehead. “You have beautiful eyes.”, she murmured.
G'morning! I had a hyperrealistic dream last night about the revolutionary war… xD wtf )
"Thatks new," he commented back with soft humor, taking her hands in his, but keeping them over his chest.
(XD)
(Honestly tho, dreams are the weirdest)
“Like chocolate.”, she murmured, smiling softly.
Sabine smiled. "It is cool." She agreed.
“Also, each layer of ice is taken from a different place, creating a sort of symbolism.”
"Whoa. That's seriously awesome!" Her phone beeped, but she ignored it.
Macha grinned. “Agreed. How long are you allowed to stay? My Papa said you could stay for dinner.”
"Yeah, my parents said that I could stay with you as long as you have something planned. My two older brothers are home, so my younger sisters have someone to watch them."
"Like chocolate," he echoed pensively, worming his arms around her waist. The cool creek water continued to run past and against their ankles and shins.
“Mm. Like multilayered chocolate.”, she murmured, allowing him to pull her a bit closer. “Every time you feel something different a layer melts.”
"Hm," he echoed quietly, heart throbbing with a sense of strong basorexia.
(Ooh nice word)
She let her gaze trail across the features of his face, eyes lingering on his lips. “Has no one ever told you that before?”, she murmured.
"Not chocolate," he answered in sotto voce, tone like syrup for the moment. There was unsaid words perched on his lips, making themselves apparent in the way he help them partially open, prepared to leap in and speak at her allowance.
The sound of his low voice sent tingles racing down her spine. "What is it?", she asked quietly, eyes traveling over the slopes of his soft lips.
He closed them but for a few seconds, "Do you know what raison d'être means?" He asked her, the embrace provided for her keeping her snugly upright and stable. How did he manage this easily to soften her philophobia?
She tilted her head slightly, movements steady and relaxed. "No.", she admitted, voice muted but trembling slightly as her love for him beat down the fear inside her. "What does it mean?"
"Reason for living," he replied. "It's french. And it fits perfectly for you."
Fae's eyes widened ever so slightly as the immense meaning behind those words was translated in her mind. "I– didn't know I meant that much to you." Her voice faltered for a moment, wanting to say more but not knowing how.
"It doesn't take much," he pressed his lips on the bridge of her nose, moving a hand to cradle the back of her head.
She reached up a hand to cup his cheek tenderly, gently swiping her thumb back and forth as something in her heart burst. "Thank you," she whispered warmly, voice quivering with emotion. "For healing me."
His dark eyes slid shut, in a serendipid peace that her mild contact gave him. He bore absolutely no qualms— her comfort was the only one of many attempts that he accepted wholeheartedly. "De nada." He whispered no louder than a mild hush.
Her other hand slid around from his chest to the smooth skin between his neck and shoulder as she went up on tip-toes, eyes falling shut as she leaned in. His words from earlier echoed in her ears, unearthing her immense relief that there was at least something keeping him alive.
His palm kept a little firmer to hold her head, his thoughts clamming up under the rush of vivid warmth. It felt so good to feel loved, it felt liberating. Damn the world if it ever tried to make him let go of her. This was bliss.
(Oh no… Sorry Cruz, but… she dies)
Fae pressed her lips to Cruz's, softly at first before she was pulled under a tide of emotion and love and the sense of beautiful forever that burst up between them and cocooned them in it's strong arms. She kissed him harder, every single one of the walls she'd built up around her shattering and crashing to the ground as she gave in, gave up herself wholy and completely to him.
