Macha blinked, taken by surprise. She quickly recovered, unfurling her huge wings and shooting upwards, angling downwards into a dive faster than a perigrinne falcon’s.

Fae could sense something almost sad on the air, but she didn’t dare prod. “That’s a beautiful name.”, she replied simply with undertones of consolation.

Julio leaned back in his chair, smiling a little wider. "She was a beautiful woman," he replied, "She taught me how to tango, you know." He winked at Fae.

Cruz squinted, feeling like his uncle was trying to send an unsaid message to his girlfriend.

Fae laughed, her internal radar pinging with the signals Julio was trying to send. “”I’m a decent dancer, though I can’t say I know how to tango!”

"Then it seems Cruz'll have to teach you then." He decided with humor all over his face.

Cruz groaned loudly, "Tío.."

Fae laughed good-naturedly, although her face was plenty red. “I’m down with that.”, she grinned at Cruz.

Cruz's face was starting to go red now, and he tried hiding his face with his jacket cuff, "I am not dancing the tango," he insisted, but was smiling.

Julio just laughed.

Fae chuckled. “I’ll teach you something you want if you teach me to tango.”

"I'm just fine the way I am without dance," he sheepishly replied.

"Well then why don't you show her how you play that loud guitar of yours?"

"Electric, Tío. Electric guitar." He corrected.

Fae watched this exchange with amusement, absentmindedly braiding her hair.

"Well then! Go show off!"

Cruz groaned, "Fine.." he stood to wash out his empty bowl.

Fae stood as well, offering to bring Julio’s bowl to the sink for him.

"Oh, no," he stood up, "It would be indecent of me to make our guest wash the dishes," he took her bowl instead, to go wash for her.

(Im thinking about cruz or August making a surprise appearance in the other rp

Fae stood to the side, wishing she could help in some way. Julio seems pretty nice. He’s cheerful, and very hospitable, she thought to herself. My parents will want to meet Cruz soon.

Cruz returned to the living room, resting his hands on his hips. "What do you wanna do?"

Fae shrugged. “Um, could you teach me a bit of guitar, maybe?”

"Sure. Race you to my room." He hrinned, knowing he had the upper hand.

“You’re on.”, she grinned back, forgetting that she didn’t actually know where his room was.

He began off in a run.

Fae sprinted after him, realizing she had no idea where his room actually was.

He turned quickly behind a door and shut it behind himself, laughing brightly.

Fae thumped on the door, laughing, her sides heaving. "Cruz! pant Let me in! You win–pant– fine!"
