Amelia smiled. "You think I didn't install a tracking app for your phone on my phone?" (Shes obsessed with knowing where everything is) "But let's try these people first, they look like cat people to me."
Amelia smiled. "You think I didn't install a tracking app for your phone on my phone?" (Shes obsessed with knowing where everything is) "But let's try these people first, they look like cat people to me."
An urge to protect his sister suddenly took over him. His brow furrowed and he glanced over his shoulder at the house. "Amelia… I don't know. We don't know these people, it might not be such a good idea."
Daso grinned. "I'm more of a any-and-all sea animals person, but cats are nice."
(I'm about to go to bed. Night guys
"Good Point, but you were the one who walked over here in the first place." She said, "I'll pull up the app"
(goodnight) "Yeah, but it's different. I'm a guy, you're a girl. Not trying to be sexist, it's just that you're in more danger than I am… because of how a lot of people are."
Hearing commotion outside, Dom turned to see another couple people looking in throught the doorframe. The girl carried a box, and Dom swore he heard a faint mewling inside.
He found himself staring at the girl as she pulled out her phone. She glanced up, and he quickly looked away.
Amelia slapped her brother. Hard. "What was that for?" He asked in anger. "Who's in danger now?" She said "Anyway, I could've been clear out of here before you looked up, and that was me holding back. I can defend myself."
"How many people are going to be here?" Jaylen asked, suddenly feeling a little claustrophobic.
"Can I go outside for a minute? She asked Daso.
Amelia looked up to see a guy looking through the door. "Hello, my brother is wondering if you've seen his phone."
He rubbed the side of his face, glaring at her. "Don't let my sister into your house, she's crazy," he said, mostly to Amelia.
"I haven't," Jaylen said, walking out of the house.
(I have to go bc my dad monitors my internet usage and I'll get in trouble if I'm on too late. Goodnight lol)
Dom tensed up as the girl addressed him. "N-No clue, sorry." He stammered.
Sparks, he thought, I just can't talk right, can I?
His gaze went back to the phone in her hand. It was open to a tracker of sorts. The same kind he had made to help his drones recover themselves.
"Maybe I can lend a hand? I know that software pretty well…."
(I might call it as well. See ya'll tomorrow, or later on today if you're on eastern!)
(making my character
Altra is 5'3", pale, red hair, freckles, icy blue eyes, timid, anxious, and overly prepared for everything. he could be like the mom of the group or something idk)
(I'm back!
Daso scrambled to catch up with Jaylen. "Sorry about all the guests," he apologized sheepishly, "I wasn't expecting all this either."
Altra watched his friends from far off, wondering what they were doing but scared to find out. They did all sorts of messed up stuff. They needed to grow up sometimes.
"It would be great if you could help," Jordan said.
Dom took the phone, flipped over to settings, and enabled developer mode. He made some minor adjustments to the range and channel of the search, then went back to the app and ran it. The device pinged, and Dom held it to the girl.
"Does this seem about right?"
Altra couldn't resist. He walked over apprehensively and took a moment to blow his hair out of his freckled face. "Did you try resetting the dev number?"
"I… don't know what the means or how to do that," he said sheepishly.
"Hand it here…" Altra sighed, flicking out his wrist with a feminine twist. "I'll teach you."
Jordan plucked his phone from Amelia's hands, giving it to Altra. "Thanks," he said.
Dom laughed, "Nice to see I'm not the only one here with a head for electronics."
"Whatever…" Altra muttered with a faint smile. "You see here?" The source coding was opened, and highlighted was a 3-line combination of numbers in parentheses. "It says '51-9-22.5'? It should be '51-9-23.5.' " He typed in the new number and refreshed the app. "See? All new. That's just a glitch in your phone's software."
(I just realized that Jordan's phone is supposed to be lost and I said plucked his phone from Amelia's hands, it was supposed to be her phone)
"Oh, thanks," he said with a smile. "Now what do I do?"
