"He doesn't seem like an idiot," Jaylen told Daso.
"He's kind of cool."
(How am I going to come in here? Like, should I be a friend/cousin/brother of Jaylen or Daso?)
Dom sat on his chair under a veranda at the beach, playing with a program he had developed in his spare time on his laptop. As he reached down to grab a sip of pop, his arm brushed his laptop, and he knocked it off his knees. It fell and landed with a thud, losing a couple screws.
He cursed, and got up to go ask around for a screwdriver.
He eventually found himself asking at a house nearby. He rang the doorbell, hoping they would have a decent driver.
Maybe.
(I'm really bad at introducing my character to roleplays lol sorry)
Daso glanced toward the door as the doorbell rang. "Reos, you've got more company." Confusedly Reos hurried to the door. "Can I help you?"
"Heya, sorry to be a bother," Dom started, slightly taken aback by the man's intimidating appearance, "My laptop kinda fell, and I need a jewler's driver for the screws. You got one lying around in there?"
"Everyone's needing my help today," Reos observed with a laugh, "call me mother of the year! C'mon in. I've got just the thing."
Jordan woke up slowly, stretched out across a bench at the beach. He yawned, sitting up and reaching for his phone to check the time. Except, his phone wasn't in his pocket. He searched frantically, thinking that maybe he dropped it, but it was nowhere. He saw people on the porch of somebody's house, and he called out to them. "Hey!" He shouted. They didn't seem to hear them, so he stood and jogged a bit closer. "Hey!" He said again.
The man followed Reos to the back of the house. Jaylen turned to Daso.
"Do you know that guy?" She asked.
Dom stepped inside, thankful that the man was fairly forgiving about Dom's abrupt appearance. The place was a makeshift workshop, witha table covered in mechanical odds and ends, and tools scattered about. Dom, curiosity getting the better of him, decided to ask, "So, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you work on here?"
"Nope, never seen him in my life." Daso shrugged. "Not that weird, though. Reos is always helping people."
Reos smiled. "Ah, nothin in particular. It's just a hobbie of mine, to fix stuff."
(Can my Character be someone's sibling or friend? My Character is Amelia, who is affectionately referred to by her friends as 'Cat Lady-In-Training' due to her love to read and her 4 cats.
He jogged up to the porch, but didn't cross their property. "I, uh… Have you seen my phone? I lost it, and I really really need it back," he explained.
(lol you can be my friend or sister if you want)
"It seems we're having all the visitors today," Jaylen told Daso.
(Thanks)
"Nice. Sounds like my luck is holding." Dom said. He glanced around a bit more, and noticed the two other people, a very striking girl and a guy who seemed to be rather interested in her. The girl, however was fixated on the locket in her hand.
"Oi! Jordan! Where are you going?", Amelia ran over to her brother on the porch, clutching a large box with air holes on it.
(sister or friend?) "Oh thank goodness. Amelia have you seen my phone anywhere?" He asked.
(Sister) "Your phone? Of course not! I was walking Mr. Snuffles home from the vet." She replied, patting the carrying case.
"Cute," he said smiling at the cat and petting it through the cage. "But I really need to find it. I was thinking maybe these people could help? Or maybe you could?" His voice got a bit high pitched, and he tried not to panic. "It took me months to save up enough money for that cell phone, I have to get it back."
(Side note: Jordan is 22 and trans, but on testosterone and has had multiple operations so a stranger wouldn't be able to tell that he is)
