Dani smiled, friendly, at Blake. "Follow me.", she said kindly. Macha couldn't help but position herself behind Blake as they walked, so that she could keep an eye on him. When they arrived at Dani's apartment, it was empty except for Ana and Rhea, sleeping quietly. Dani led Blake over to a room with a cherry red door. "This one's all yours, snacks on the table in the common room.", she said brightly. Macha slipped into the room shared by her, Sky, and Rhea as Dani called after her. "I'll be in my room going through some paperwork, m'kay?"
(that's it for me tonight, folks!)
(Night @Topaz)
(G'night! ^-^)
Ace was bored. And frustrated. His dragon sketch wasn't perfect enough and he kept erasing it, but in the end it looked even worse than before. He decided to go back into the apartment, after all, everything must be over by now, right?
Iseul stepped away from the wall and walked near a light post. He couldn't see anyone suspicious far down past the club. Except for some weirdo climbing out of the storm drain. The same weirdo that was being chased by a big demon cat thing. Shaking his head, he let out a little laugh. "Looks like the poor guy needs some help, I guess."
He skipped over to the guy and stopped. "Hey weirdo that looks like he was in hell but then rejected, do you need any help?", he asked tilting his head.
I'm the last one left…..Opens bottle of facepaint
Blake tentatively opened the door to the room and was immediately awed. He let out a tiny gasp as he stepped inside. Dani or Macha must've shut the door behind him. The room was much bigger than he was used to. Then again he'd never had a room to himself before. The walls were light grey, and a soft looking bed seemed to be waiting for him in the corner. Blake kicked off his shoes and stumbled towards it, exhausted and drained from the sedative, but blissfully happy about having a room to himself. And having people who cared. And plenty of good food to eat, not just rations. He was ready to weep with relief as he laid down and stretched his wings comfortably across to wide mattress. He was out cold without a second though, falling asleep with a warm feeling buzzing in his chest.
*Zander twisted and turned, but all he could see was the fire ripping apart his home, pulling at the air and chocking away at the oxygen. He turned and saw his family going for the door. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" he cried, but it was too late. He watched as his father held the door open for his numerous siblings, and how his mother trailed behind with the youngest, Lily. He watched in agonizingly slow-motion as the roof caved in on top of all of them. He ran to them and found his mother holding Lily, she was saying something, but Zander couldn't hear. She then pushed her into his arms and he looked down into her eyes. Then there was a loud crack and a masked man with a black suit and red pin came though the wall and into the burning house. He watched as another came through and and took Lily from him, the second grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to an uncertain fate. *
Zander snapped awake and sat up on the uncomfortable bed. He was drenched in sweat and Kata, who had sensed his anxiety, had already grown larger than him and was by his side purring against him in a futile attempt to comfort him. He pet her until she calmed down and reverted to normal size and then he thought about Lily now and how the guards called her Doe, because of her large brown doe eyes. Then he lied back down knowing he wouldn't be able to sleep again.
(Sorry I took so long this took me forever to write)
Ace walked down the corridors, looking at the directions that a man at the cafeteria had given him, occasionally bumping into the walls and tripping over a potted plant. The note read: Go down the hall, take three steps north, stomp on the ground and a staircase will open up, go up the stairs, and when you reach the top step, yodel. When you finish yodeling, a door will open and you will go through it to find an room that is empty except for a grandfather clock. Go inside of the clock, say, "Igloos are amazing for a parrot's house, but sometimes they're filled with flamingos" the clock will shoot you down and you will land in front of a door, inside the door is Agent Shield's apartment. Don't forget to knock.
Josh was bored. Very bored. So bored…he needed a snack. Lots of snacks. ALL, the snacks.
Getting up from his bed, he left his room to rummage the kitchen for snacks. He brought out an assortment of snacks, ranging from Hot Cheetos to Shrimp Chips. Eventually, he had gathered enough snacks to satisfy his appetite. Arms laden, Joshua turned to return to his room when a knock sounded at the door. Balancing the snacks in his arms, Joshua made his way over to the front door. He opened it to see Ace standing there.
"Oh hey! Come on in, uh…do you wanna eat some snacks with me?" Josh asked, a bright, soft smile on his face.
Dani had told Macha that she was going to do paperwork, and she did. Well, maybe half a page. After that, she was so exausted that she crawled onto the floor and fell asleep.
Food. Glorious food. "Yes." Ace said, nearly salivating with hunger despite eating a cheeseburger earlier. Ace grabbed a random bag and sat down on the couch, tearing open the chip bag open and wolfing the chips down.
