"Holy crap, Dan!" he muttered under his breath, not loud enough for Dani to hear, but she could certainly feel the sentiment. Turning back to Blake he nervously quipped, "I guess she didn't know either. This isn't normal protocol for these sort of things…" he walked over to the couch and sat down, offering the seat next to him. Joshua continued on, in the most normal voice he could possibly muster. "Normal protocol insists that any R.A.C. agents we capture must stay in holding cells. But I guess they struck a deal with you? Did they threaten that you'd get hurt if you went back? I hate that tactic. It's not nice! Like, how the heck do you expect to win a guy over by threatening his life? You don't. You just scare him into submission." Joshua sighed and shook his head.

"Uhhh… not really. I-I just sorta… woke up here. Do you know where I am?" Blake awkwardly perched himself on the arm of the couch so his wings could hang comfortably off the side. "How'd you get here anyways?" Blake asked, unwilling to spill his own story of capture.
Macha, regrettably, pulled away from Ace's arms, voice still quiet. "Dani wants to meet us in the common room, we have to go.". She tried to get out of the bed, but stumbled. She looked up a Ace. "Could you help me walk there? My legs are still weak, sorry.", she said, kissing him on the cheek. Am I doing this right?, she fretted silently.
(update: really sorry everyone, but I'm going to be gone for a few hours. @Nerd, you get custody of Macha again. Apologies D:)

"You're currently in Dani's apartment. This whole place is known as The Citadel. It's basically head of operations for the TGR. We have some smaller fronts but NOTHING compares to this place. How did I get here? Through the front door." He grinned playfully. "But actually…I work here. It's actually quite nice, if you ignore the fact that almost every single person here is on the R.A.C's hit list." Joshua sighed. "Half of them didn't even do anything wrong! They're just advocates for Magical Equality, and that makes them an 'Enemy of the State.'"

Blake stared at Josh blankly, trying to take in all the information he'd been given. "So… almost everyone on the R.A.C's hitlist is here?…" Blake repeated hesitantly. If he could uncover this place he'd be a hero, but something made him reluctant to do so. Maybe it'd be better to gather more information first. "Is… Is someone named Ace here?" Blake asked quietly, tension building in his stomach. Please say no. Please say no. He repeated the silent plea in his head. I'm not ready to kill someone out of battle….
Ace put his arms around Macha's waist and lifted her up. She put and arm around his shoulder and together they walked towards the receptionist's desk. "Hello, how may I help you?" the receptionist said. "Can you direct us towards Dani's room?" Macha said, weakly. The receptionist smiled, "Ah, Agent Shield, very well. You take a right turn down that corner and then you'll reach the door that has a picture of a banana on it, go through the door, then make a left turn, then a right, then another right, and you'll reach a corridor with no doors, but if you sing a part from hello by Adele, the door should open right up. Then you go straight, take a left turn, then a right and then you'll reach a life size cut out of Nick Fury from the Avengers. Knock on it four times and then a door should materialize in front of you, go through the door and that should be Agent Shield's apartment." Macha and Ace stared at her, slack-jawed. Ace spoke up, "Can you write that down?"
