(@ONLINE_ROBO I never really specified Commander Ryker's position so it's up to you!)
(Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sobs)
(sorry * evil grin *)
(but wait– there's more >;)
(Gasps You wouldn't. Y-You couldn't. insert betrayed voice HOW. COULD. YOU.)
Dani stood up. "Blake you can either help us or you can stay in here. It's your choice. But I'm pretty sure that someone is going to come looking for you." She slowly started towards the door.
(writer is pretty much a synonym for murderer, sorry ;)
I know way too much about how to kill someone.
Ace scooted back, and sat next to Macha, holding her hand. He listened as she talked, and waited for her to go on.
Also, Ace's backstory is so much longer, but I wanted to spare you guys the horror story that was Ace's life after his village's massacre.
(Yes @Topaz. I know. I'm starting to realize that. But at least all the characters that I've killed I haven't let you get to know them!!!!!)
(aw, don't spare us!)
Macha brought out her arm again, tugging lightly at the bracelet second-closest to her elbow, under Davie's. The bracelet was a gorgeous intricate braided pattern done with seven brightly colored threads, one magenta, on pink, one red, one orange, one yellow, one turquoise, and one blue. "This was the bracelet she made for me.", she whispered, clinging to Ace's hand as is it was a lifeline. Blood seeping out from the stumps of her wings, hazel eyes glassy. Dead.
Macha's hand traveled down her forearm, landing on the next two bracelets, both complicated African woven designs. "A few moths later, I was living on the streets, hiding from the R.A.C. and continuing what Fae and I had started. These were the bracelets given to me by Rhea and Jason, her twin brother." Struggling to keep her face neutral, Macha thought fondly of her friend. Rhea must've slept through this all. Poor girl hasn't slept properly in days. "I don't think I have the right to tell you her story without her consent, but I can give you the basics. Rhea and Jason were born in Zimbabwe, in a poor village, and lived with their mother and abusive father," The racist one. The one who was ashamed to be African, the one who beat his wife ruthlessly just for having dark skin like him. The deranged, psychotic one. The one who wouldn't let his wife name their children traditional names, no, that wasn't white enough for him. "They eventually immigrated here to escape their father. Jason was an illusionist, Rhea is a shapeshifter. I-it was Jason who gave me seven magicked bricks that would hide an area from view, the bricks I used for my weapon stashes and hideout." Her voice was trembling now. "Jason was tortured to death 8 months after meeting me, and Rhea was forced painfully into the shape of a Pegasus just 'for fun'" The anger came surging back into Macha's voice. "They were going to kill her too, but I managed to get her out. She was never able to change back again." Macha fell silent, suddenly hyper-aware of how close she and Ace were. Buzzing all over, she curled up against him closing her eyes.
(almost done! one more bracelet!)
(@Natasha, sorry >:) Mwahahahahaha)
(@NERD, the last bit might hurt Ace, as it's about her first boyfriend. * oops * I feel really bad for him, so I'll make it brief)
(*sobs)
(I almost cried writing the part about Fae's death. I've actually written a much more detailed chapter on it)
It doesn't matter, you can make it as long as you want, Ace is sort of chill about that stuff, it's almost impossible to make him jealous. It's just a part of his personality.
Macha curled against him and Ace shot a glance towards her arm, where the bracelets were. I wonder if I should make one for her. He ran a hand through Macha's hair and tried to imagine it blonde. He couldn't do it. Ace touched her face, feeling her skin. "Is your skin 100% stone, or is there a layer of skin under there?' he asked.
(ok, great! thanks)
Oh god., Macha thought. How am I going to tell him about Lenn? "Th-The last bracelet was from Lenn, my– my first boyfriend." She winced inwardly, praying that she wouldn't start crying again. "I–I stopped him from committing suicide, and–" His ash and platinum blond hair. Those soft gray eyes. The smooth gray river stone he always wore around his neck. She tried again. "He–" Macha couldn't bring herself to continue. The bracelet. She looked down at the last bracelet, tears welling up in her eyes. It was made out of slim interwoven shades of grey, with small silver rod and ball-shaped beads threaded, in seemingly random places, on it, spelling the words 'I love you' in Morse Code. "He was a figure skater. He died 10 months ago.", was all she said as she sat, swallowed by a memory. Lenn laughing, pulling me through the park, around the barren trees. It's winter, and the snow is plentiful on the ground, my breath fogging in the air.
(i'll be bac in about an hour)
"I'm so sorry." Ace looked into Macha's eyes. "I bet he was an amazing person." he brushed a tear off her cheek and then kissed it. Ace stopped for a second and almost as an afterthought added, "What does figure skating mean?"
(Hey @Natasha , does Dani realize that this is the same Blake that Joshua was talking about?)
(Yes. She does.)
(Lol Ace)
Blake felt his heart plummet as soon as Dani mentioned he could have someone trailing him. Commander wouldn't do that, would he? Maybe… maybe Ben was right. God what if… no! No this couldn't have all been an excuse to kill him off! It was all too elaborate. If they wanted him dead he'd be dead by now. Or not… Blake shook his head furiously as if trying to clear it. "I… I-wait. Please." Blake looked down at his feet and gritted his teeth painfully to hold back tears. What's wrong with me today?!
(@Natasha , okay! Thanks. XD)
(@Mistress are you on? If so do you want to do something with Ana and Josh to pass the time whilst everyone else's characters are off doing stuff?)
