"My name's Kanoa." she extended her arm, watching as Pauka scurried down it. "No, Pauka!" Pauka climbed onto the boy's shoulders, picking through his hair as Kanoa's face turned into a deep red.

Ellis scampered inside to go leap onto a sugar high, while Peter quietly entered, making room for the conversation.

"I'm right here." Dani finally spoke up.

Josh stepped back a bit. "Whoa!" Josh laughed as Pauka climbed onto his shoulders. "Hello there," he said to the Tamarin, reaching up to scratch his back. Josh giggled as Pauka picked through his hair. "It's okay. I'm Joshua." Josh said, smiling his soft, sunshine smile.

"Hi Joshua." Kanoa waved and picked up Pauka from Josh's head. "What did I say about this? You don't pick through people's hair without permission." Pauka lowered his head in shame and retreated to Kanoa's head, braiding a strand of her hair.

"Ah, there's Dani!" Josh said as Dani spoke up. Josh nodded at Kanoa before shuffling back over to the kitchen, where he had been prepping a snack for himself.

Dani put her hand up in greeting. "What's up?"

"Dani! Hey!" Kanoa smiled, "I heard you're quite the people person these days. I just came back from my mission and I thought I would hang out with you for a while?"

"Sure! Just if you hear any screaming, that will probably be me and don't freak out." Dani answered lightly. " I'm going to try to sleep. "

Zander laughed as Kata started ranting about not being replaced by this new 'cat' and she rushed to investigate it.

Macha smiled. “Hey, Ik Macha”

"I'm Kanoa, resident Witch and half-demon." Kanoa smiled, face brightening, "And you are?"

“Like I said, I’m Macha, resident……….. err, winged girl, I guess.”, she laughed.

"Sorry! I forget things a lot!" Kanoa sat down on the floor, "I remember my first steps, but I don't remember what I had for dinner last night." Pauka finished his second braid, succeeding in making Kanoa look silly.

Dani walked into her room and flopped on her bed, not bothering to close the door.

Zander picked Kata up and walked over to the new girl."Hey, I'm Zander, and this is Kata."

"OH MY GOBLINS!!!" Kanoa's eyes grew wide. "Is that a cat? I love cats!" Pauka poked his tongue out at Kata, jealous and he pulled a strand of Kanoa's hair to remind her that he was here.

"Yeah, she's a bundle of personality too." Zander said, as Kata stuck her tongue back, and meowed softly at the new girl .

"Can I pet Kata?" she asked, taking Pauka from her head and plopping him onto the floor.

"Yeah," Zander said, passing Kata towards her.

Kata meowed.
