"I don't remember what my mom used to make when I was young."
"Never met mine. Actually, I technically did. Sort of like a Harry Potter situation, man. General Syrec used to call me Potter."
"Quinlan called me The Wild Card."
"You are a wild card." Blake chuckled, leaning over and messing up Ace's hair, a grin on his face.
"Yeah." She replied,matching his tone.
"And you're nothing like Harry Potter." Ace ruffled Blake's hair as well.
Blake shrugged. "Never read it."
Ace gasped. "We can't be friends."
"You think the R.A.C. would've let me read and I quote magic propaganda?" Honestly Ace all I did was eat, train, and sleep.
"Sounds almost as bad as my life."
"Poor Ellis," he humored.
"It wasn't all that bad. Three meals a day, one type of food per meal. If you picked the right food you were set. I'm used to training. And we'll… sleeping is sleeping. It was the fighting in between that was uncool."
"Fighting. Wow. Such hardcore. Too scare."
"I'm very scary!" Blake protested, puffing out his wings and standing up so he loomed over Ace.
"You're so adorable." Ace ruffled Blake's hair. "Love ya man."
She laughed. "Poor Ellis indeed."
"I'm not adorable." Blake grumbled mutinously. "Love you too, big bro." Blake let out a deafeated sigh and sank back into the chair. Resting his head on the cot.
Im off to bed )
"What do you want to do now?"
"Yes you are." Ace smiled, "Love you more, little dude."
"Am not." Blake draped his wing over Ace protectively as a nurse walked by the door.
Ace patted Blake's feathers.
Skylar thought. "I dont really know. You?" She asked.
"Scratches." Blake demanded, exposing his softer feathers.
Ace nodded and began preening Blake's feathers.
