(So remember how I told you family was coming to visit us, well the morning they came in(their plane landed at 4 am) my Dad went to go pick them up in a rental because our car was not big enough to pick them all up. So off he went (@11pm bc they arriving in a airport 4 hours away) so me, me mum, me sis, and me cousin(? my aunts husbands sister) stayed to make sure all the details were all perfect, and… I fell asleep at like 2. Then a couple of hours later I woke up with a throat that felt like somebody had stripped it raw, so I went upstair(My rooms in the basement) for water and throat medicine, after finding no medicine and having the water irratate it more I went to my mom who told me to jump in the shower real quick so I did. Then while I was in the shower I began to throw up, and then I couldn't breathe and ended up stumbling out of the shower still trying to breathe. I had to open the door but by then I had been without breathe for what felt like forever so I fell into my mom(who I'm like 6-7 inches taller than) who was freaking out because(she says) I had already turned blue before I threw up again. This let me get in another breath before my airway started to close again so my mom jabbed me with my Epi-pen(peanut allergies) allowing me to breath before shoving me in our car(which we luckily had because my Dad got the rental because again, our car was too small) and taking me to the hospital where I stayed overnight til morning)(PS Epi-pens work amazingly fast, like seriously)

(We still don't know what actually caused it, we have theories, but right now it's seemingly random)

Zander felt like he had been zapped into reality, then thought about Dani. He excused himself from Peter's room and went to Dani's room, finding her crying. He walked over to her bed and sat by her, stroking her hair from her face. Dani, what's wrong? he thought softly.

We lost so many. She thought back, sobbing. Two hundred people. My birthday is cursed. It's never a happy day.

Blake opened his eyes a crack as Frankie walked back into the room. "How're you feeling Blake?" She asked worriedly, fussing over him.

"I missed you!" He whined, puffing out his cheeks. A nurse pulled Frankie aside and quickly informed her on Blake's visit to Ace. Which earned Blake a disapproving stare.

Dani, just because it happened on your birthday, it doesn't make it cursed. Zander thought, laying next to her on his back, staring at her ceiling. Bad things happen every day, but I doesn't make them the fault of everybody born on that day. The only difference between you and them, other than your good looks, is that you know more about what's happening behind the scenes. That means that you know a lot more bad things, but a lot more good things too.

Blake was bored. Very bored. He made Frankie sit with her back to him on the bed so he could run his fingers through her vibrant, curly red hair. He loved the feeling of the soft, bouncy curls against his finger tips. "You're pretty." He commented, still dazed from being drugged.

Zander over half of my siblings died on my birthday. Cami, David, Carlos, Julia…………… She couldn't go on.

Zander turned his head to her, You have almost as many siblings as me, but just because they died on that day doesn't mean it has to be a somber occasion, it just means that you should celebrate their lives as much as possible. You're part of a family that chose to fight against injustices. That came with its own set of loss, but you still have friends and family. All of whom love you, some like me admittedly more than most. Other's have the opportunity to be with their families because of yours though.

Dani looked back at Zander, calming down. She he him a weak smile through her tears. "I know." She whispered softly. "But I feel so helpless. I mean………if I lost you, or Macha or Ace or anyone else, I don't know what I'd do. I would break. Promise me I won't loose you." She whispered.
