"Macha?" Ace looked at her, "I've never dated a blonde before." he beckoned her to come closer, "Do you have a shave thingy? I haven't shaved in days and my chin is all stubbly."

Macha melted with relief. “No, sorry Ace. I do, however, have this:”, she grinned, producing a cheeseburger plushie, gift cards to the Burger King of TGR, and the matching bow ties she’d bought.

"OH MY GOD! IT'S A CHEESEBURGER PLUSHIE!" Ace scrambled out of bed, ripping some wires and grabbed the plushie and the gift cards while Zodiac took the bow ties and flew around with them.

"Bad bubbles." Ellis mumbled back.

The nurse looked quizzically to Skylar for translation.

"bubbles?" she asked, "what do you mean, ellis?"

Jesus Christ, what have I done? “Um— yeah, Ace, glad you like them.”

Ace hugged the plushie and jumped up and down before collapsing on the bed, coughing blood.

“Where are the nurses?!”, Macha was panicking. “Ace, be honest. Do you hurt anywhere?”
