"Something for Ace." Dani answered.

Zander took Mackenzie then heard the rest of what Skylar said. Zander internally freaked out. *Will I be able to take care of this many kids, I've only ever known one. OH MY GOSH CAN I DO THIS?
Dani bit her lip and bowed her head for a second. God, protect Ace. Please.

(It's just two kids! And one of them is sleeping! *Dani collapses in a fit of giggles)

(Zander's only ever known one, and only seen her once in a while at that. Zander still internally freaking out)
"Right. Im sure he will appreciate it very much." She said, watching Macha cautiously.
Zander, still holding Mackenzie, went to Ellis." Do you have anything specific you want to do or.. do you just want wander the base and see where we end up?"
It's amazing how one thing can change someone's fate. It's amazing how one step can change your path. It's amazing how you are here because of all the decisions the universe made leading up to you. And it's amazing how just one tiny snip that the surgeon made, changed Ace's fate.
(@NERD WHAT. DID. YOU. DO.)

Blake was quiet. The surgeons were getting louder, their tones more panicked. He was growing panicked. Ace you promise. You promised me. Blake drew his knees up to his chest and wrapped his wings around himself so the surgeons couldn't see or hear him crying like a little kid. "My brother." Blake whispered over and over. He was terrified and alone. Scared and sad. "Please, Ace." He whimpered.

The surgeon raised his trembling hand to put the snippy tool (yeah, cant write surgeons) back on the cart. He pulled off his gloves and went to go stand in the corner, resisting the urge to sob. He went back and pulled on a new pair of gloves. "We have to save this kid."
I. SWEAR. TO. GOD. @Nerd!!!!)))
I. SWEAR. TO. GOD. @Nerd!!!!)))
You screamed it, yay!
Blake was trying his hardest to block everything out around him. Why am I the only one here? Why am I alone with Ace when he needs everyone else more than me? He was a fighter not a healer. Less of a person and more of a trained animal. Blake could kill. He could fight with his bare hands and mercilessly murder when given the order. But he couldn't heal. Ace, please! Ace! I need you, man! I need you! Blake's thoughts whirled in his head, crashing into each other like meager boats swept up in a raging storm.
The surgery ended and the nurses pushed Blake into the hall, "We'll tell you how it turned out later."
(@TiredOtter did you know that Blake means 'dark in color'??????????????????????)
(Actually haha it just means black in some language (blanking at the moment) Also I'm back, catching up right now just came across this if it gives you an idea of where I am)
"No! Please! You have to let me see him." Blake begged, desperately shoving them aside to bust back into the room.
Frankie sat silently on the couch. She had little to no idea where everyone was or what the kids were up to. She trusted they would be okay with the other girls and Zander. She went home and changed into something of her own, jeans a "Sick horn bro" unicorn shirt. She pulled her wild curls into a bun and returned to the apartment. She had locked it on purpose and plopped down outside the door, reading an e-book on her phone. She thought of all the things she could have done and prayed for Ace and the others. She knew what the R.A.C. could do. She let her head tilt up and rest against the wall, she rested her eyes and waited patiently. "Please let them be okay. Please." she thought desperately. Her thoughts turned to the stars. For a long time, her father had taught her to think of the stars. No matter how chaotic life was, the stars would always be there. You can always find Orion in his awesome quest and the big dipper filling itself up with the universe. She sighed. The stars are stories. The stars are a shoulder to lean on, a constant source of reliability. But what was she? A swirling hurricane? Unpredictable? Always coming and going? She didn't know. But at this point, she wished she was as simple as a star.

Stars are actually not that simple..))
"No." the nurse gave Blake one last shove before closing the door, sealing Ace's fate.
