Not again Dani thought. She held on to Kata.

Zander got up from where the giant dropped him and saw Kata coming. He mouthed for her to close her eyes, and then he made the motion to throw a fireball, but halfway to it's target it exploded into a blinding white light. Zander rushed to see Kata but faltered when he saw Dani on her back. Zander rushed to her and gently pulled her off of Kata while the giant stumbled around, trying to see. " Dani. Dani talk to me!" he pleaded.

"I'm f-fine." Dani struggled, even though she clearly was not.

Zander turned around as the giant walked toward them," You'll pay for th– ARRH." Kata had jumped onto his back and bitten him in the neck. Zander turned back to Dani." No you're not." Zander fumbled around his pockets until he found what he was looking for. As an ex-high member of the R.A.C. he had been given a supply of adrenaline to keep him alive. He had used it only once before. He quickly pulled out the companion needle, but he needed to give her the right amount. " How much do you weigh?"

"Ellis," he answered indignantly. His fiery ginger hair felt greasy and mucky, and looked so as well.

"120 pounds. Why?" She struggled to ask.

"Ellis. I like that name. Wanna do me a favor and start getting uhh… scrambled egg and cereal requests from the refugees over there? I doubt everyone just wants onions." Blake grabbed a fork and scrambled the eggs in the bowl before buttering the pan and turning on the stove. He went back to the fridge to pull out tomatoes and cheese.

Zander quickly extracted the right amount and stuck the needle into her thigh." That's why." He answered." In a second you're going to feel better, but when that happens you need to go find Macha she–." Kata suddenly flew by, thrown by the giant.

Frankie had settled down but her foot tapped the ground nervously as she thought of the others. She wondered if they were alright. The scent of onions reached her nostrils and she flinched. She prayed he was a good cook.

"Wha–WHOA." Dani's eyes popped open. She was still bleeding and light-headed, but she could feel adrenaline pumping through her. "Where is she?"

"I don't know but you have to go now!" Zander said as the giant walked up, "Did you think that that little kitty could beat me?"

Dani nodded. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Be careful." With that, unfurled her wings, not trusting her legs, and flew towards where she could hear Macha's panicked thoughts.

Blake looked up at Frankie, still wearing goggles, and gave her a goofy smile. "Do you have to call your mom still? She might be worried." Blake asked, scrambling the eggs a bit more in the pan and adding tomatoes and cheese into the mix.

Ellis stayed sitting on the counter. He had no clue what a refu-gee was.

Peter had fallen asleep on the couch.

"Macha………………….I'm here" Dani nearly shouted. "What do you need?"

Zander ran over to Kata and checked her over, she had been hurt really bad. "Just rest right where you are, I'll be back real quick." Zander pet her head, then got up and ran to the far left, drawing the giant away from her. He thought a moment, then placed his palms on the ground. He felt the titan fall, and rushed over to it. Placing his hands on the ground again, he turned the ground the giant lied on into quicksand and heard the giant's confused cries. After he couldn't hear it anymore, he turned the quicksand into the densest solid on the planet, osmium. He wanted to do more to the giant fiend, but stopped, both Kata and Dani needed his help. He ran back to Kata to get her, and tried reaching out to Dani.

Kata farted from the window she had been looking through and tackled the man who had shot Dani effortlessly subduing him with a bite. She hissed as more men came, and snapped at them.

Blake drew his attention back to Ellis. "You a little shy?" He nudged the little boy playfully. If you want you go go take a shower and get changed. Go to that door over there." Blake gestured to the bright, cherry red door to his room. "On the left you'll see a closet. Knock on the door three times and whatever clothes you need will be in there when you open it. Grab those and the shower door will be on the opposite side of the room." Blake instructed, scraping the first batch of eggs into several bowls. "You can have some cereal if you're hungry too." Blake said, leaving the kitchen for a moment to go hand out some food.

Ellis followed Blake, "I– I've never used a shower before," he tugged at his shirt hem again.

Skylar came out from her room wearing skinny jeans and a t-shirt. She saw Peter and broke into a huge smile. Running over to him, she hugged him. “Oh I’m so glad you’re all right!” She said.

Peter's eyes fluttered tiredly, mumbling a quiet and happy "Skylar.."

“Where are the others?” She asked quietly.

"Never? Alright I'll teach you, just let me shut off the stove." Blake left Ellis for a moment to clean up the kitchen a bit, leaving cereal and milk out for the refugees. "Alright, follow me, I'll show you how to use it. It's sort've like rain, but you control the time and temperature." He explained, leading Ellis into his room.
