Tessa perked her head up at the sound of gunshots. A curious creature at heart, she jogged over to see what it was.

Lindsey back against the wall, clutching at it in firght. She didn't know what to do. She had never been in that kind of situation before.
Cat was almost at the cafe when she turned around and saw the girl she tried to rob. She looked terrified. "ay in here" she shouted at her from a few feet away and motioned to the cafe.
Roger moved as fast as he could through the back streets. But his pursuers stayed right with him. More shots rang out and he wondered how he hadn't been hit yet. Then he heard a shot and was soon on the ground, the bullet had sung right past his ear. He pushed himself up and continued running.
Tessa jumped down from where she was running on the buildings, landing on one of the people firing the guns. They both rolled from the impact, and Tessa ended up with the gun. She shot the one she had landed on in the leg.
Roger heard the sounds behind him change. He turned and say a woman on top of an agent. Crap! He spun around and headed back.
She backed up as the others turned on her. Well then. I clearly thought this through. At least she still had the gun, and, with her profession, was not afraid to pull the trigger.
Jeriah wasn't sure why he was cursed with complete stupidity, but apparently he was. As evidenced by, instead of going, getting in his car, and driving as far from here as possible, he found himself trying to find the source of the gunshots. As the shots got louder to indicate his rapid decrease in distance from them Jeriah briefly contemplated how his life had ever gotten to the point where he would find himself running towards danger instead of away.
Roger jumped on one of the agents that was behind the woman and they both fell to the ground. Their tussle lasted for a short amount of time, as Roger punched the guy's lights out and jumped up again, breathing hard. He turned and another shot rang out the bullet heard ricocheting off a wall.
"Yolo." Tessa charged at one of the agents and jumped on him, spinning around so she was on his back with her legs wrapped around his torso and her arms around his neck. She squeezed his airway so that he couldn't breathe, waiting for the guy to pass out.
She ducked her head as another agent shot at her, and she sighed and changed her tactic. She snapped the neck of guy she was latched onto, then turned around and shot the one that tried to kill her as she went down.
Jeriah turned the final corner to the alley in time to see a girl snap one man's neck and shoot another. "Well… that's awkward."
Roger had gotten himself into a fist fight with two others and was not doing so go. He hadn't been hit yet but he was being backed into a corner. He heard another shot go off as he managed to land a knock out hit on one of the agents. Then he football tackled the other to the ground.
"You good, amico mio?" Tessa called to the guy originally being chased by these agents. She hated the government–and they hated her–so she had no problem with sticking her nose in this situation. A few of the agents realized her lack of hesitance when it came to self-defense, so they circled her cautiously.
Roger, still on the ground fighting with one of the agents glanced up at her. "I'm great," he was completely out of breath and hadn't noticed when the agent got hold of his gun. He looked down in time to see him aim at the woman. With a panicked no he pulled the guy away and a shot rang out. Roger jumped back like a jack rabbit holding the side of his cheek.
The uniforms practically screamed government. Jeriah let some more inventive language out at that. This is what he got for running towards a fight. He didn't know if any one had really noticed him yet so he started to back away quietly.
"Cazzo!" Tessa swore, throat punching one dude, and then ran towards the guy holding his cheek. She aimed her gun at the one that had shot the latest bullet. "Make a move and I won't hesitate to put an extra hole in your skull," the threatened.
Cat could see the fight from where she stood but she was far enough that no one would bother her. At least she hoped she was. she had her hand in her pocket holding her knife just incase.
Roger pulled his hand away and looked at it. Well he'd definitely been grazed but it was better than being dead. His cheek had a line of blood forming on it where the bullet had grazed him. "Least it wasn't my eye," he mumbled. The remaining agents were pulling back taking their wounded with them. He walked over to the woman. "Thanks for the assist."
"My pleasure. They looked like assholes anyway." She emptied the gun of ammo and chucked it to the side. "And I needed a little action tonight."
Watching the conversation in front of him, Jeriah decided to try to disappear before he was noticed.
Roger used the back of his hand to wipe the blood from his cheek. "I'm Roger by the way," he said looking around. His breathing was still a bit hard.
"Theresa, but call me Tessa or Tess." She placed her hands on her hips and quicked a brow at Roger. "And why were those dudes after you? Not that I'm judging–I'm probably worse."
"Eh, I stole somethings from them and they want them back." He shrugged. "What about you? You seemed a little to willing to help a guy running from the law."
"Mafia," she said simply, winking with a smirk. "And I've gotten entangled with the government quite a few times."
"Well, I'm probably going to head back out of the city. I find it easier to hide in the wilderness," he sighed.
