(gotcha, gimme a sec)
(Big or small city)
Tessa watched with a brow raised in curiosity. Merciful? Not the typical kind of person the families want me to kill. She once again started following the boy, now keeping her footsteps light and near silent.
Marco sighed, and kept going awhile longer. Occasionally he would stop and listen behind him, or sprint and then listen again. Seeming to move at random.
Marco frowned, but shrugged, turning to walk off. He may have worked as a bounty hunter in order to survive, but that didn't make him evil. Which was why the mafias hated him. Cause he left too many targets alive.
Cat watched as the boy walked away As soon as she knew he wasn't turning back she turned and walked away. she'll find a new alley.
What is with this dude? Tessa grumbled in her mind, hopping from building to building to try and keep up. Not that she was really complaining. She licked the thrill of the hunt, and this was a great way to distract her mind.
Suddenly Marco turned towards the wall of an alley, volleying up the walls spidey stylè, and landing on the roof.
(My phone's about to die, so I may vanish..)
"Oh. Hello." Tessa was crouched before him and blinked in surprise. "Or should I say ciao instead? I feel like that would be more accurate."
(Idc)
"So you're the one who's been following me…" he said with a frown. "Who sent you?"
"Not so much sent as 'go check this out and see if these whiners are legit.' And before you pester me any more, it was Rawling."
The moon was high in the sky, when Roger put his fire out. He looked over at the horizon and spotted a light. That's a city, he thought to himself.
Cat thought she heard running and talking from the alley but she kept on walking straight. she walked down the street glancing around. there were a few people walking home. she could get some money before finding a place to sleep. her eyes wondered on the people around her.
"Not so much sent as 'go check this out and see if these whiners are legit.' And before you pester me any more, it was Rawling."
Marco swore. "Great, just great"he said sarcastically.
"Ah, but you should also know that he only had me check it out because a bunch of other families were yapping in his ear to get me to take you out. He has no reason to have you killed. It's a judgment call on my part." She stood to her full height and remained casual.
Jeriah pulled into a 24-7 cafe at close to midnight. He'd been driving for two days trying to ditch his last tail and had recently shaken them. The cafe he stopped at had a few outside tables so he decided to use one of them, he never felt very comfortable in fast food places or restaurants for the ability to corner someone in them. This allowed him to ditch faster than if he was indoors.
Currently he was the only one there and was getting ready to leave when he looked up and saw a girl, roughly college aged, walking past. Alone. She looked nervous and clutched her phone tightly, ready to call for help should the need arise.
Marco rolled his eyes. "I know exactly who has their eyes on me. And the Rawler family is not one i need to add to that list."
Tessa crossed her arms over her chest. "And I shall reidderate–he has no reason to kill you. He has given me permission to determine if you die or live. Simple as that. Stay on my good side, and you'll be fine."
Marco nodded. "So how much do you know about me?" He asked.
She shrugged. "Just tell me why the families are pissed off at you and that should be enough." She wasn't really in the mood to do the Mafia's dirty work right now, so the kid will probably live either way. God knows that she messes with the families all the time.
"Technically I'm a bounty hunter. I take out people, who the families want dead." He sighed. "Though, I have a strict policy of who I take out and why."
"Oh sweet. So we're kinda the same in that regard. Though… I usually don't care who I'm taking out… But when I do it's because of a personal vendetta." She put her hands on her hips as she studied him.
