“Well after Phillip showed me what hot chocolate was, I loved it. Then the first time my mom made me hot chocolate before going to the castle. And that was the last time she ever gave me something.”

He nodded. She better not cry again… "That's some good reasoning."
Chelsea bit her lip, and drank her hot cocoa, that made her feel better. “I’m a Cheshire, I don’t have reason.”
"Right." Cade had nearly forgotten that Chelsea was related to the Cheshire cat, though it was obvious by the color of her eyes and hair. Everyone here is related to someone famous…I feel like a peasant. Which technically, I am.
“Do you miss your family?”

He nodded. "I do, though it hasn't even been a day since I last saw them." Cade chuckled. "Wish I could've at least told them where I was going."
“I mean I could technically bring you to them.” Chelsea muttered, taking another sip. “You love your family a lot.”
"I don't necessarily miss them, I just want them to know I'm alive. They worry a lot. At least, my mother does."
“Is your mom the type of mom that worries about you being married? My mom was, even though I was 10.”
"She is. Wait, you got married when you were ten?!"
“What no? She just always reminded me.”
Cade released a breath. "Thank god. I always hated the whole 'young marriage' concept."
Chelsea chuckled, “Same. My mom would always give me a two hour lecture about it.”
"The boys always have to marry girls that are way younger, which gets awkward."
“Oh yes. Definitely. Someone I knew had a 5 year difference.”
He shook his head, chuckling slightly at the fact that he was talking about this. "I'm glad my mom hasn't forced me to do anything yet. Hell, I've never even been on a date." Cade covered his mouth. "[s word]. Don't tell anyone I said that."
Chelsea raised an eyebrow and smirked, “Certainly not Cadey.”
"You keep your [f word] mouth shut." He growled, glaring at her.
Chelsea rolled her eyes, “I will, I will. I promise.”
"Good." He leaned back again, still eyeing her cautiously. She better not say a word…
“Did you sleep?”
"A little." He was slightly surprised by the sudden change in conversation.
“You look tired.” Chelsea said bluntly.
"I always look tired. It's called having three younger siblings."
