Willow shook her head, "I cannot allow Abasi's home to be tainted by the likes of you."

“Phillip was the one who introduced me to hot cocoa.”

Scarlet swallowed. “I guess I’ll apologize from out here then.”

"Of course." Cade shook his head, smirking. "That wasn't too long a story."

"You do that." Willow yawned.

“I’m sorry for saying something that offended you.”

"That's nice."

Scarlet drew in a breath. “Have fun.” She turned and walked back to the house.

Willow stared at Alice, "She's going to be the only one I won't cry about when I kill her." she considered the others, "Cade too."

Chelsea nodded, “Tell me a story.”

Cade chuckled. "What story? Something about me, or like a 'once upon a time' story?"

Scarlet slipped into the cottage silently, walking past Cade and Chelsea and into the kitchen.

“About you.” Chelsea said, taking a sip of hot cocoa.

"Why must I kill them again?"
"They want to kill you."
"But I'd like to die."
The queen shook her head, "You think you want to die. What you really want is to live."
Tears streamed down Willow's face, "I know."
"They're trying to stop you, so stop them first."

He smiled. "I don't really have any interesting stories."

“Well then tell me an uninteresting story.”

Cade shrugged. "Well, there was this one time I caught my little brother drinking water from the toilet. He was four."

Chelsea chuckled, “That’s quite intresting.”

"It's pretty normal for me, considering that I have three younger siblings."

“Is it a hassle?”

"Yeah. My dad works a lot so it's usually me and my mom taking care of them. She's expecting another kid anytime now, so it's been mainly me for the past few months."

“Oh that’s sad. What about that small bag of coins I gave you before?”
