Chelsea raised up both her hands, her face smushed on the couch.
Chelsea raised up both her hands, her face smushed on the couch.
Cade wiped the blood from her hands, careful not to get blood on himself. He set the wipes aside and grabbed the bandage, starting to wrap up her first hand.
“Thank you.”
"No problem." When he was done, he stood up and went to throw the wipes away.
Chelsea took back her hands and fell back asleep.
(Okay that was badly phrased.)
(pfft)
Cade walked back and shook his head when he saw that Chelsea was fast asleep again. Lazy… He joked, sitting back down again.
Then Chelsea quickly sat up, “I’m awake!” Something didn’t feel right, she looked at her palms and realized someone had bandages them.
Cade jumped at Chelsea's exclamation. "Holy [s word]! Chelsea!"
“What?” Chelsea asked.
"I thought you fell asleep again."
“Again?”
He nodded, slightly confused by how she was reacting. "You fell asleep, then I woke you up and bandaged your hands. I came back and you were asleep again."
“Oh it was you? Thank you.” Chelsea said.
"Again, no problem."
Chelsea smirked, “Did I look like an angel when I was asleep?”
He let out a laugh. "I suppose. I wasn't really paying attention."
Chelsea chuckled, “I’m going to get my morning hot chocolate, so if I die you know where to look.”
Cade rolled his eyes. "Of course you drink hot chocolate in the morning." He laughed again, leaning back.
Chelsea laughed, “That’s the only part where I’m predictable.”
She disappeared for a minute, and when she came back, she was carrying a cup of warm hot cocoa and wearing a small frown.
"You look pretty sad considering that you just got your favorite drink." He noticed.
Scarlet finally located Willow in a little tree hut, and ran up to her.
Chelsea took a sip of the hot cocoa and smiled, then she sighed and plopped down on the couch. “Some people don’t know that the queen has been killed. Some want to steal the throne.”
"I assumed so. Princess doesn't want to be a ruler."
