Harper pulled away and smirked at her friend. "I knew it."

She blushed lightly. “How?”

Cade, who was sitting under the window behind the two girls, overheard the conversation. He perked up a bit, trying not to fall asleep.

"It's kind of hard NOT to know. I mean first of all, I'm one of your best friends. I know you better than anyone. And two, I'm a rebel spy. I've been specially trained for almost seven years."

Willow took her hot cocoa and went upstairs to cradle Nutmeg's tiny dead body. She walked out to her garden and buried him under his favorite tree.
"Nutmeg. You were my sweet companion. When I was at my worst, you helped me reach my best. Nutmeg, I will forever be sorry for what I did to you, I loved you. A lot. You would help me through my hallucinations and you understood how I felt. I was not a good friend. I'm sorry." she knelt down and patted Nutmeg's grave, tears falling.
"I'll make it up to you. I'll kill myself soon. At the palace, where no one can stop me. I just wish that they would leave my house once I die."

“Good point. I need dating advice, please?”
