He snorted. "Can you throw?"
He snorted. "Can you throw?"
Jamie opened his sketchbook. He started to sketch out Xander and Sebastian's forms, not really listening to their conversation.
"Not well," Xander admitted, "I'm maybe average at best."
He was tilted away from them so they couldn't see his drawing. He left both of their faces blank as he started to sketch Xander's hair.
He chuckled. "Can you catch?"
"In a pinch, I'll do anything to keep the ball from hitting me, so yeah, I can catch," Xander answered, "That said, I'm definitely embarrassing myself."
He chuckled again. "Its okay. I won't laugh actually, I probably will, but don't take it personally."
"Of course not. I live to be everyone's comic relief," Xander said sarcastically, but with a slight laugh and a genuine smile.
He smiled. "I won't throw it too hard. Don't want you to get a bloody nose."
"Good to know. I'll try not to fail miserably." Xander looked back over to Jamie, and saw that he was drawing, but not what he was drawing. He smiled a little.
Jamie rolled his eyes. "God, their flirting is worse than mine," He muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Xander asked.
"Nothing," Jamie said, a smirk playing on his lips.
He laughed. He grabbed a football's and walked a few yard away. "You ready?" He called out.
"Ah, sure thing," Xander replied, suppressing a laugh. Nothing. Yeah, right.
"Yeah. Let's go, Sebastian," Xander replied.
He threw the football at him, not too hard, and hopefully easily catchable. His eyes slid to Jamie before looking back at Xander
Xander lunged forwards a little and tucked the ball to his chest. He threw it back. They weren't standing so far apart, so he was able to get it mostly where he wanted it.
He smiled and caught it. He had to step forward a little bit though. He stepped back and threw it again.
Jamie had stopped drawing in favor of watching the two of them. Sebastian's eyes had been on Jamie for a couple seconds before he threw the ball, and Jamie would be lying if he said he didn't blush.
Xander tried to throw it back again after catching a second time, but as he expected, the ball fell short of his intended target due to the larger distance between them.
He smirked as he noticed the blush. He may or may not have flexed a little to show off. He raised an eyebrow at Xander. "You were right. You do suck at this." He walked to distance to pick up the football. He walked back, a few feet before where he originally was and threw it back.
"Hey!" Xander cried out in protest, still kind of laughing. He caught the ball and threw it back, able to make it this distance again.
(I have to go. I should be back later tonight.)
He laughed. "There you go. With practice, you'll be fine." He fumbles with the ball but caught it. He raised his arm and threw it.
