Floyd approached a girl who seemed to have the same expression that he did. “Great to see that at least one other person is a bit excited for this,” he said, chuckling,

"Laila Alimere." She shook it, pushing the fabric of her hijab out of her face.

Rey picked up her pace when she heard someone shout that they're lesbian. She reached a few people talking. "You guys seem like an interesting group of people," she said.

"It's brilliant isn't it?" Josie said to the boy who approached her, "Name's Josie. I've never been here before but I already love it. This summer is going to be everything."

Xander heard the other kids in front of him. He quietly walked near the group, listening in on the conversation.

“Yeah, I'm just as enthusiastic about this. And it’s nice to meet you, I’m Floyd,” He said with a bright smile. “Everyone else seems to be kind of bored with this.”

"Can we go to our cabins already? My bag is heavy and I'd really like to put it down."
(Are there any camp counselors?)

Laila shrugged. "I would've rather gone to a horseback riding or circus camp, but they were all full."

"Nice to meet you, Floyd. I don't understand how someone could possibly get bored in all this beauty. I read about all the hiking trails and activities we can do here and I was so in. A whole summer in nature is heaven on Earth. I just hope to make some friends because with this crowd I'm afraid I might scare people off with my energy," Josie responded, the words tumbling out a mile a minute, "Do you like card tricks? I have made it a personal goal to master as many card tricks as I can because I find them incredible fascinating as well as an interesting conversation starter."

Floyd grinned in interest as he listened to Josie. He was growing fond of her already, he loved talkative people. “Energy is a great thing! Don’t worry, I have a lot of it as well. And what kind of cards tricks can you do?”

"Oh I'm glad you asked Sir Floyd. Allow me to entertain you with some slight of hand," She laughed as she fished a deck of cards out of her bag. She showed him one of her crowd favourites where she made a card disappear from the deck and reappear in Floyd's pocket. "Is that your card?" She asked as he stared in amazement.

(Alright, I'm just gonna tag along with Floyd and Josie.)
Xander approached Floyd and Josie, starting by just saying, "Hi." He wasn't sure the strangers wanted anything to do with him, and he didn't want to intrude.

There was an awkward silence in the air. Rey decided to take her leave and walked over to another group. One girl had a stack of cards in her hand.

"Hi!" she welcomed the two people who approached her and Floyd, "Shhh this is the big reveal… well?" She looked at Floyd expectantly.

Xander watched Josie, curious about the card trick. She seemed friendly and welcoming enough.

Rey raised an eyebrow at the girl, then looked at the other guy. (Floyd)

"Hey, do any of you see a counselor that looks incredibly comfortable?" Jamie asked the group around him. "A friend of mine has a job here, I'm pretty sure he's also looking over our age group,"
(I'm assuming we're all the same age because I'm to lazy to check)

Laila fiddled with the beads on her necklace, an observer in the conversation as they walked.

Laila is 16 almost 17)
