Halo shrugs and smiles, "I don't mind." he says casually.

"Are you sure?" Bastian asked softly. "He probably won't be here long, he always finds someone to stay with. But he could be here for weeks."

Halo shrugs. "Alright." He nuzzles him happily.

Bastian smiled, nuzzling him back as he held him close. "I'm glad you're okay with it, baby," he murmured

"I'll always support you." He says quietly. "And those you choose to support." He kisses Bastian happily.

Bastian smiled warmly as he kissed Halo back. But as they were in the middle of kissing, Luno walked out wearing Bastian's borrowed clothes. "O-Oh, um. Sorry," the boy mumbled

Halo looks up and smiles a little. "Sorry." He sits up and walks to Luno. "I'm Halo. It's a pleasure to meet you." He says softly. He extends a hand.

"Oh, um. I'm Luno," the boy mumbled, giving him a sheepish smile as he shook his hand gently. He looked even sweeter up close, from the faint dusting of freckles across his nose and cheeks to the spiderbite piercings on his lower lip

Halo felt a small pang in his chest. Luno was cute. Halo had always been insecure about himself. Luno… Was better looking and a lot cuter and more innocent appearing than Halo did. Why wouldn't Bastian go for someone like Luno? He was sweet, he was quiet. But he smiled. Halo wanted Luno to feel welcome.

"I, um. I think I'm going to go to bed. I've had a long day," Luno murmured, looking off to the side. "Thank you for letting me stay here," he added, giving the two a small bow before straightening.

"Hold on, I still have the air mattress here somewhere. You can use that," Bastian said, getting up and going to the bedroom to look for said air mattress

Halo nods. He smiles a little bit before sitting back on the couch, humming softly. Avie jumps on to the couch and snuggles next to him..

Bastian found the air mattress, and he dragged it into the living room before beginning to inflate it. Luno stood awkwardly to the side, though when he caught sight of Avie his gold eyes lit up. "Is that…You never told me you got a puppy!" he exclaimed softly

Halo pets Avie gently, humming softly. She barks happily and licks Halos hand. He smiles and scratches behind her ear.

"Yeah, that's Avalanche. Avie for short. We just got her," Bastian explained with a small laugh. Luno put his hands over his mouth in a quite frankly adorable way before walking over to Avie. "Can I pet her?" he asked softly

Halo looks up and smiles. "Sure. She's rather friendly." He says softly. Avie tilts her head at Luno then sniffs his fingers. Her tongue lolls out and she barks happily.

Luno reached out to tentatively pet her, though Avie quickly nuzzled his hand and barked. Luno giggled almost childishly before beginning to pet her more. "She's so fluffy," he murmured

Halo nods and smiles softly. He felt his heart crack a little more. Luno really was better than Halo when it came to the innocent act. He bites his lip. "I'm going to go to the bathroom. I'll be back in a minute." He says cheerfully.

Luno didn't appear to hear him, instead sitting down beside Avie so he could pet her more. At that Avie barked happily and clambered into his lap

Halo walks past Bastian, setting a gentle kiss on the top of his head before entering the bathroom.

Bastian looked after him, tilting his head in slight confusion. Was Halo okay? He didn't want to prod his mind or anything. Just because he could didn't mean he wanted to

Halo shuts the door and releases a soft and pain filled sigh. Luno was better than him in everyway, that's what he believed. Halo was never good with confidence. He takes a shuddering breath. He was okay… Bastian loved him. Right? There was nothing to be stressed out about.

Luno seemed content petting Avie, giggling when she would try and lick his face. Bastian finished blowing up the air mattress before setting it aside. "I'll go grab some blankets, and then you can go to sleep," he told Luno before walking into the bedroom

Halo tried to relax, focus on his breathing and his business. He was so scared. So nervous. He wasn't sure what to do…

Bastian went to grab some blankets, but he stopped when he realized that he didn't hear…any noise, really, from the bathroom. Slowly, he walked over to it. "Hey, Halo?" he called. "Are you okay, babe?"

Halo starts and looks up. "Yeah! I'm okay! Uh… Where is the toilet paper?" He calls as a quick way to hide his concern. He looks around.
