“Ah, I understand”
"So, you really just gonna wait till you die, then come back?" Phillip asked.
She shrugged, “I guess so”
"Okay then. Well, I'll leave you to it." Phillip moved to leave the room.
(I’m gonna go sleep aha)
She looked around the room for something to use to speed up her death
Klaus watched the carpenter fix the railing with a bored expression on his face, his arms crossed over his chest.
Phillip walked over to Klaus.
"Sneaky bastard," he said, grinning slightly. "Ya get what ya wanted ta know?"
"Yeup. I kinda wanna kick myself for not figuring it out sooner." Phillip gave a smile, though it was hard to see with his face mask on.
"Good. No more sneakin' 'round." His voice carried no heat to it, simply because he had no authority on the ship.
"Sure thing." Phillip gazed out to the sea.
"My friend would die of laughter if she found out I had to be told what was going on."
"It ain't as bad as me. Ah had to watch her bleed out, friend." He snorted from the memory.
"Oo, that had to be tough." Phillip said.
She sighed quietly before defeatedly sitting back down, she was going to have to wait
Aza watched quietly from the crow's nest, wanting to talk to Phillip but not knowing how. Klaus intimidated her.
Phillip looked around.
"So, what's gonna happen now?"
"We wai' fo' a spot at da port, den slide in and sell the goods."
(Should Klaus be, like, a veteran member of the crew?)
(I should think so)
Phillip nodded.
"Well, if you need me, I'll be below deck."
"Try 'n sav the rum fo' when we hit da port. I'm sure y'all want to drink when ya get on land." He waved him goodbye.
Phillip laughed.
"Ah, rum is not what you should be worried for."
"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow.
Aza began singing, starting softly, then growing and bouncing off of the waves. It carried with a melodic ring, resounding like a bell.
Phillip.
"I've never been a rum person. Wine runs in my blood."
Klaus chuckled lightly.
"Wine is even mo' dang'rous, friend."
