Lewis was about to sign something back, but then he realized he had just accidentally shown Sienne his ruined hands. He stood there, mortified.
"Um… no. Facts as in facts about math. And I can remember stuff about history."
Viva winced. "Sorry." she said, but continued to ask anyway, "Perth, do you still believe in the gods though?"
Viva was trying to ascertain whether someone on their side, or someone not on their side had taken Perth's memory.
"Believe in gods? Well, maybe. I mean, Ari can do the water shpere thingy."
Sienne clasped her hands over her mouth. She started for his hands but pulled back, thinking she'd probably only make them hurt more. She looked up at him with worried eyes, "What happened? Do you want me to get you something to wrap them in? I can grab something if you'd like," her hands frantically flew in the air.
He was about to sign back, but his hands stung, and he winced in pain. He didn't want to tell her that he had been the one to hurt himself. Lewis nodded. He feebly asked,"Could you get me some bandages, please?" He made sure that the words were mouthed really clearly.
Sienne nodded, "I'll get nectar too," she signed before she ran off to find some bandages and nectar for Lewis. She first headed to the Apollo Cabin and knocked on the door. A girl she knew answered. She pointed at a pen in the girl's pocket and she handed it to her. She scribbled on her hand, Do you have bandages and nectar I can have? The girl nodded and left for a bit before returning with the supplies she needed. She ran back to the place she and Lewis had been meeting and set the supplies on the bench and signed, "Give me your hands."
Lewis turned his hands over so that the backs were facing upwards. He saw the nectar and felt guilty. Surely someone else needed it more than he did, and surely that someone else hadn't done something so stupid.
Sienne took the nectar and poured just a little onto Lewis's hands. After doing that, she set it back down and grabbed the bandages. She wrapped them around his hands and set the excess next to the extra nectar, "Is it better?" she asked.
Ari sat down on the ground and sighed deeply. Her head was abuzz with trying to sort out information and trying to organize thoughts. She traced something on the floor of the cabin with her finger silently, trying to get the word out of her head. Hopeless. Hopeless. Hopeless. Hopeless. Hop……..
The nectar burned a little, but he knew it would speed up the healing. He nodded in agreement, debating on whether or not to tell her.
Sienne nodded, "Ok, if anything is bothering you, you can tell me, unless, of course, you don't want to. But if you need anything, I'll help you as best as I can."
Lewis figured if he was going to tell her, the time was now, when he had no emotions left to come spilling out. "Actually, yes. Sienne, I got frustrated by what Eleos showed me, and I injured myself."
Sienne gasped, "Was it that bad?"
"Probably not. I'm sure I'm overreacting," Lewis replied.
"Sorry, that probably seemed really shallow. What was it about?"
"Sorry, I'm probably being pushy."
"Um… no. Facts as in facts about math. And I can remember stuff about history."
Viva winced. "Sorry." she said, but continued to ask anyway, "Perth, do you still believe in the gods though?"
Viva was trying to ascertain whether someone on their side, or someone not on their side had taken Perth's memory."Believe in gods? Well, maybe. I mean, Ari can do the water shpere thingy."
Viva plopped down on the floor next to Ari. "Perth, this must be really hard for you. Would you like me and Ari to tell you some stories about us and you to see if it might jog your memory?"
Viva wasn't sure whether hearing about the life she couldn't remember would make Perth feel better or worse, but she figured all she could do was offer.

"Oh, no, not at all," Lewis said, "I just… Well, first, all of you were dead. That's awful enough in itself. But why you all died was because I was powerless to protect any of you, and that's the worst thing I can imagine. Standing back while everyone else is killed, not because I'm a coward and won't do anything, but because I have no ability to help. It's more complicated than that, really. I feel like I already have to work twice as hard as everyone else to prove myself, since no one even seems to know my mother's name as it is. I'm sorry. I'm rambling."

Siren tried to stand up again but all she could do was stand up by the cabin wall. You can do this she thought taking a steady step only to fall down hard. Sirens face and body begain to bleed. Not again Siren thought as she had flashbacks. Siren tried to get up only to fall down again. I won't, I can't give up! Siren thought with a fiery face. I won't give in!

Sienne listened to Lewis, "I don't think you're powerless. Even if you don't have an ability now, you're bound to get one sooner or later. And, you're one of the best people I know," she put a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks, but… there is always the possibility that I'll never gain a power. That's one of the things that comes with not having a parent who is considered major. However, I'm okay with just being a good person, I guess, as long as I can defend those I love," Lewis said. He tried to smile. "I'm still scared, but I guess we all are."
For several seconds, Lewis paused, but then he started again. "Sienne, why did this hit me so hard? The rest of you maybe cried a little, or panicked a bit, but I had two pretty bad anxiety attacks. At least, I think that's what they were. Maybe I'm being dramatic?"
