Viva smiled at Ari. She wasn't sure exactly what she had done to help last night, but it was sweet of Ari. She looked over at where Ari and Siren were talking to each other. Ari would make a good big sister, Viva could feel it.
Viva was finishing her breakfast when the pavilion went dark. Everyone seemed to have disappeared apart from her, Miles, Lewis, Sienne, Ari, Perth and Siren.
There was an indistinct figure with an aura of power standing in front of them. Viva couldn't tell who it was.
She whipped out her flute and placed it to her lips. "Don't touch my friends!" she yelled out.
"Oh my dear," replied the woman, "why would I? I am not your enemy… I have come to give you advice."
"Why should I believe you?" Viva challenged. "How do I know that you know anything?"
"I am Eleos. And I know EVERYTHING about you."
Eleos, eleos, eleos. The name rang a bell. Wasn't she the personification of pity?
(people are alive! jk XD. the thing about the darkness lady is kinda random but i thought it sounded cool… idk :P)
(Idk, you described it pretty vaguely. It could be an oneiroi, which are generally black and demon-like with wings, or something like that.)
(hmm. i wanted it to be like an omen warning them about the first stage of their quest, and also unsettling everyone by telling them their deepest fears or something… randomness. maybe some kinda spirit. but i couldnt really think of anything so i just left it as "the figure of darkness…" XD. i might change it)
(Yeah, playing with all of their fears publicly is fun)
(ok. so i guess just make your characters react to her? i thought the fears thing could make for some interesting conversations later on… :P)
(Uhhhh idk, maybe it's a message from another one of Nyx's kids who noticed something was up with her)
(ooh! that's a really good idea…)
I'm sorry I don't really get it?
I'm sorry I don't really get it?
(You really need to read the books.)
I'm sorry I don't really get it?
(what are you confused about?)
(Yeah, either Hemera or Eleos would be cool)
(eleos probs. thanks! cos eleos is taking "pity" on them)
(That's what I was thinking exactly)
