She smiled. She truly loved being with Darren. Who knew that a geeky girl would end up with a jock?

Darren smiled back at her, he didn't even notice stereotypes anymore, now it was just him and Paige and he really didn't care that much what other people thought.

"I should be getting home. Could you drive me?"

"Y-yeah of course," He nodded, home wasn't a place he wanted to be.

"We, uh, don't have to go. Right now. We could… Uh…"

"I can take you home if you want I just won't be going to my house anytime soon,"

"We could just… Talk. Or something."

"Whatever you want," He smiled as they approached his car.

"Or not talk," Paige added stupidly.

Darren laughed, "I like talking to you, I was just saying that if you needed to get home I would be willing to take you,"

"Oh, okay," Paige whispered. She toyed with her jacket sleeve.

Darren got into the car and started it up, waiting for her to climb in he turned music on.

“So do you wish to go home? This sure it will take you wherever you would like to go,” He grinnged as he patted the steering wheel, as if the car was some living being of transportation.

"I'm fine right here…" Paige whispered shyly, looking at Darren with wide, innocent doe eyes.

“Just… in the parking lot?” He chuckled jokingly, “No destination?”

"Nope," she grinned. She pushed the thought of going home from her mind. She didn't even want to consider the option.

“ how long do you wish to sit in the parking lot for?”

"Until… forever!" She giggled.

Darren laughed, “Fine, fine but if I starve to death you’re the fridge to blame,”

"Okay, but there's a Chick-fil-a right over there," Paige pointed out teasingly.
