Leon thought for a second before responding, "I'm in theater."
Leon thought for a second before responding, "I'm in theater."
“I love theater,” she enthused just a little too much and brought herself down.
Leon bit back his laugh as he raised his eyebrow, "Really? I've never seen you there."
“No, I don’t do the musicals here, people judge,” Why was she telling him this?
Leon looked down at his desk, "No shit they do. I wish they all would burn in hell for judging."
Now dear you need to calm down.
Shut your mouth Lillith. You don't tell me what to do
“As bad as it sounds, so do I. I wanted to do the musical but it would kind of ruin my rep,”
Leon looked up at her quizzically, "Why do you care about your rep? Your probably getting negative rep points just by talking to me."
“Actually this is one class I don’t have friends in so unless you tell….” she returned the raised eyebrow.
Leon sighed and raised his hand, "I won't tell. No one would believe me anyway."
The teacher noticed him daydreaming and called his name. Multiple times. When he finally heard her, he simply flipped her off and went back to his head. "Oh! How rude!" "You got a problem with it, princess?" He glanced over at her. "Yes, I do! You really don't want to start your first day like this." "Don't I though?" He smiled. This was his thing. Pissing off teachers.
Caire seemed surprised that Brendan would be rude to the teacher, especially on the first day of school, but she said nothing. She was always near perfect the first quarter, and then the teachers loved her. Then, they were considerably more lenient with just about everything.
The teacher stood there for a minute before turning away and continuing her talking. "Knew it." He whispered under his breath. "They never send out the new kid." He leaned back in his chair, going through his head to see which persona he would be this time. The shy new kid? The tough bad boy? The friendly arts kid? Decisions, decisions.
Leon sighed and raised his hand, "I won't tell. No one would believe me anyway."
Delilah laughed a little, “Okay then. Looks like neither of us have anything to worry about,”
Leon frowned slightly, “Why would I have to worry?”
(Hey)
Delilah shook her head, “You don— never mind.”
Leon let out a sigh and looked up to the clock, “It’s been almost 15 minutes since class started and the teacher still isn’t here.”
“And yet they’d kill me if I was 10 minutes late….” she sighed, “I could just leave,”
Leon had a small smile on his face, “You know the unspoken rule right?”
“What rule?” Delilah was interested.
"That if the teacher doesn't show up in fifteen minutes you can leave," sure enough some of the other kids in class were already packing up.
“Let’s go then. I wasn’t going to come anyways,”
"You still want to be around me?" Leon was a bit confused. Normally only the theater kids stuck around him.
“Despite what you may think, I don’t dislike you. You actually seem pretty cool.”
Leon grabbed his stuff and stood up. 15 minute mark. He muttered to himself, "Well that's a first. Someone not in theater likes me."
And you were so rude to her at first.
I was having a shit day okay?
Delilah walked out and looked behind to see if he was following.
