(Oh right. Sorry Parakeet! It's fun to stalk tho, so feel free to do that!)

(Yup! Will do!)
(Where were we?)
Lilith twitched gently against the frame of the sill. Did she really fall asleep against it? Ah, well. She sat up and stretched out, and looked around the room. Where'd cowboy go? She wondered idly.
Jules paused in front of his bedroom door. I wonder if she's awake….
Lilith shrugged and leaned against the sill again. It felt cool against her back. She longed for fresh air, not the stifled air of an old ship. She sighed gently and dipped her gaze, dropping her right hand off of her left arm. It revealed what looked like a really bad infection; purple, blue, and kind of oozing.
Jules pushed the button and the door slid open. "Oh you're awake."
Her hand jumped to her arm. "Oh, yeah. I just woke up, though."
"Uh huh…" He glanced at her. 'What's up with your arm?"
"Nothing." Her voice was quieter than usual. Quite frightening.
He raised an eyebrow. "An oozing purpley black splotch on your arm is nothing?"
"Yes." Her voice was loud with defiance.
"Sure. Lemme take a look at it." He started over to her.
"No." She lept off the sill and shied away from him.
"C'mon." He cocked his head. 'i'm not gonna hurt you."
"How can I know that if you tried to take me to jail?"
"I wasn't trying to hurt you then, I'm not trying to now."
"Yeah, but I don't want you to see it. So screw off."
"No. I'm your captain. Let me see it."
"And I'm a woman. No."
"Fine. Leak all over the ship and kill us all."
"It's not bleeding anymore. And it won't kill you. That's not how this type of thing works."
"Okay…" Jules nodded. "Are you okay otherwise?"
"Well, yes. For now." (Also I'd like to say, she put emphasis on the 'you' in the second sentence of my previous message.)
(Oh
Oh dear)
"For now?"
