John closed the toilet lid and flushed it before sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall. "It's my first day back. I don't know what I expected."

(Hoi, I'm back)
Sherlock patted John on the back, "You probably expected me to act more human, it happens to everbody."
"No, no. It's not that, Sherlock." John cleared his throat. "I just thought that you, going away for some time…I thought it might have changed you."
"I'm not the type of person who changes. Don't worry. And also Mycroft tipped off the world that I'm alive so we may be getting clients soon."
"That's good." John chuckled lightly. "But…are you sure?" He gazed into Sherlock's cold, turquoise eyes. "Nothing's changed?" He questioned. "Nothing at all?"
Several small "Ping" noises rang from Sherlock's phone to prove his point.
"Nothing's changed. I owe Mycroft a favor though."
"Oh." John tried to hide his disappointment. "What's the favour?"
"No idea. He didn't tell me."
"Strange." John pondered the possibilities. "What about the clients?" John gestured to Sherlock's phone.
"Boring. I can do them later."
"Okay," John stood up. "I guess I'll go to the store to buy some real food."
"Eyeballs count as real food. And good luck getting past Lestrade, he's at the door now."
"Oh, he's leaving." Sherlock said, pointing out the window.
"Wait, why?" John asked. "Oh, right." He realised, "I'll go then."
"Let's go out together, I'm bored."
"Are you sure? What about the public?"
"Not a problem. Not many people care about detectives."
John nodded. "I care." He mumbled, forgetting Sherlock was there.
"Of course you care, we're partners." He said.
"Right." He grabbed his coat. "Let's go then before it gets cold."
Sherlock grabs his coat too. The two walked outside, it was late Autumn, nearly Winter.
