"I love you too." She smiled a little. God I want him so bad…no, keep it together.
"I love you too." She smiled a little. God I want him so bad…no, keep it together.
He matched her smile. "Mhmm…" He gently brushed his lips against hers, teasing her a little.
She giggled softly. "Tease." She reconnected their lips with slight desperation. She couldn't help it, it was the most she was going to get.
Her kiss was sudden, but not unwanted. Ice shot through his veins, controlling every movement. It was like he had no control. Everything inside of him wanted to just kiss her forever.
"We've quickly become one of those couples. The ones who can't keep their hands off each other." She chuckled, not complaining about it at all.
"You're not wrong," he mumbled into the kiss. He had always hated those kinds of couples. It looked like they thought the world was ending. But now, he realized why. It was actually kind of like that. The moment was bound to end, and he didn't want it to.
"Not that I mind, of course." She chuckled softly, only tugging him closer. It felt like if she just held him close enough, the moment would never have to end.
"Me neither…" He carefully wrapped his arms around her and brought her closer. When she was near, it was almost like nothing could go wrong.
She smiled a little. "I love you, my star boy." And she meant it with all her heart.
"And I, you, art girl." He chuckled a little. He's never really said it and meant it before, but now, there was no doubt in his mind.
"Which I still find surprising." She chuckled softly. "It never seems like anyone does anymore."
"Well, I love you to the moon and back to make up for their mistakes." He wasn't sure how anyone couldn't love her. She was just so… lovable.
"I don't deserve you, Jackson, I don't." She smiled, blushing slightly.
"I think you've got it wrong." He smiled a little. "I don't deserve you."
"How? You've had girlfriends which means you can get people to like you enough to go out with you while I never had. I'm still wondering how I, the dorky artist who's rumor is more popular than herself, managed to catch the eye of you."
"I don't think you understand: it was all pity love. It's not like they actually enjoyed me being there beside them. They could do just as well on their own. They enjoyed taking me stargazing, but only because they loved the stars. They told me to shut up and that they didn't care when I would ramble. Which was fine, I guess. It never felt right though. Not until now." He smiled a little.
"That doesn't explain what you see in me. How did I manage to make you mine? It sounds impossible." She brushed her thumb over his bottom lip slowly. She couldn't help it, drawing lips was always impossible for her.
He shuddered a little at her touch. "I see," he brushed his lips against hers again. "A beautiful girl…" And again. "Who's smile shines more than the stars…" And again… "Who I wish I knew more about than the stars…" Again… "Who's taken up most of my mind since I've met her. Which is odd."
And as if on some imaginary cue, a shy smile spread across her lips. "Aww, how cute. I could say the same for you though."
"Whatever." He chuckled a little, pressing their lips back together. He had finally got the girl of his dreams and couldn't imagine a life without her. Not even a second.
She could hear her heart beating fast in her ears. She couldn't help it, he just made her heart skip a beat. And if she had a choice, she'd never let him go.
He gently brought her closer, everything inside of him wanting more. It quickly deepened in passion and flame, sparks seeming to fly.
It was like a slowly growing fire. If they didn't contain it or put it out, it would just keep growing until neither of them could control it.
He wouldn't put it out yet- he couldn't. It drove him crazy when the flame wasn't their, lickingat both of their lips trying to suck out all of the oxygen in their lungs to keep it going.
(Do you have any ideas for thickening the plot?)
(I have a couple but literally none of the pairings I have ever get to just enjoy each other for more than 10 minutes so I'm just kinda rolling with it for now)
Her hands moved of their own accord, slipping slowly down until they landed just over his chest. She wasn't sure why they did but she wasn't about to change it.
