She laughed lightly. "Well, I'm not much of a singer but okay." She cleared her throat and continued. "Time stands still. Beauty in all she is. I will be brave. I will not let anything take away. What's standing in front of me. Every breath. Every hour has come to this."
(Is she actually singing this time?)
(Okay, and is she good or nah? Gosh goodness gracious sorry I gots so many questions)
(Nah it's no big deal. She's very good. She just doesn't like to admit it.)

Jackson looked over to her, his jaw dropping. He couldn't speak. Her humming, sure, but her singing?! She was spectacular. Her voice seemed to lay a coat over his mind, covering all his thoughts with a blanket sprinkled with stars.
She never sang in front of people, which had caused her doubtfulness about her voice that no one could refute because they'd never heard it. But once she found her rhythm and got into the song, she completely forgot there were other people and just relaxed.
He was in love with the flow of her voice. She seemed to be singing to the stars, wishes being caught in hand by the stars. "Wow."
That was, until, her reality crashed down around her and her anxiety set in. Her song abruptly stopped. "Sorry, I'm not much of a singer." She mumbled.
"Wrong wrong wrong. Are you kidding me? You're amazing!" He turned his head to look at her. "I'm. Whoa. Whoa. That's. Whoa."
She stared down at her hands as she squeezed them in her lap. Yes, she was a friendly, confident girl but when it came to her voice, that's where she shrunk back.
"Sorry, did I say something wrong?" He noticed how quiet she'd gotten. Idiot.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong. I'm just…really underconfident in my voice." She looked up at him slightly.
"Well, I mean, I get that much. But I promise you're really good."
She smiled a little. "You're too sweet to me. What did I do to deserve such a sweetheart like you?"
"You've got it all mixed up. What did I, the goody-two-shoes star boy, do to deserve you, the spectacular artist that can sing?" He chuckled a little. "You, miss, are more than I've ever imagined. More than the stars have."
She blushed and looked away with a smile, she really wasn't used to being complimented. "That's not true."
"It is. And I know it is." He smiled. "I mean, obviously. Look at you. You're beautiful."
"Okay, now I know you're lying to me. I'm not pretty so I try to make everything around me beautiful."
He sat up a little. "No, everything around you can't even begin to compare with your beauty! It's the darkness and you're the stars. Trust me."
"You don't really mean that." She chuckled lightly, brushing her hair out of her eyes.
"Yes, I do." He helped her, brushing her hair behind her ears. "I wouldn't lie to you."
(Sorry! Had to shower)
"Lots of people already have. I wouldn't be surprised if I had to add someone else to the list." Her smile dropped and she couldn't meet his eyes.
(No worries! I've been climbing on the roof all day!)
"Hey." He took her face in his hands and brought their foreheads together. "I'm not them. I am stupid star boy who can't shut his mouth. I mean, I can, I just don't which is, like, not good. Anyway, yeah. I won't. Okay?"
(Don't fall, Spiderman!)
She smiled a little. "Anyone watching probably thinks we're insane. Just sitting on a roof talking."
