"Love you Tempest." She said as she snuggled into the hug with a grin.

"I love you more" he chuckled and nuzzled right back, happy as could be

Joanna hummed delighted. "So we both have work tomorrow I'm assuming? Mind if I go with you?" She asked pecking his cheek.

"not at all I love it when you come by. I'll do the same." He strokes her hair gently as they spoke

“You don’t have to Temp, I mean of course I want you to, but I don’t want you coming and just sitting there having nothing to do.” She hummed lightly relaxing into his touch.

"nah I love coming by…I should get her present thought…I wish I had a little more information

"Fine, if you insist." She chuckled faintly. "Anything special at work tomorrow for you?" Joanna hummed, looking up to him with wide green eyes.

"Well it is Christmas tomorrow so we'll play a lot of carols and such" He smiled brightly

“Wait- tomorrow!?” She asked looking at him in surprise. “I thought I had until after the weekend!”

He whistled Carol of the Bells and nodded in responce

"Shoot!" She squeaked getting off his lap. "I really thought I had more time- but it's Christmas Eve!" She panicked. "I love you- but I have to go out and finish my last little things before tomorrow."

"Of course I understand." Then a gift idea hit me "Oh shoot! Me too!"

"So I'll see you in a bit then? Since we both have things to go get?" She asked looking at him with a soft look.

"Yeah of course" he said shooting up and giving her cheek a kiss, going after his keys

"Love you, drive safe." She smiled following behind him. "Don't get into any fights, and stay safe." She said taking his arm and pulling him over to her. She kissed his cheek and booped his nose.

"Alright I won't cutie" and with that he made his way to Barnes and Noble to pick up something that was more a symbol than a gift really

Joanna went off, not only to find something for Tempest, but to get her oldest brother something as well. "This shouldn't be hard- right?" She asked herself.

(Time skip until both of them are finished and have come back to the apartments?)

(Yeah sure) He crept up the stairs with a small bag in hand, trying to be undetected so Tempest could wrap the gift.

Joanna sat in her apartment, surrounded by gifts, wrapping paper, and bows galore. She was getting a little stressed at the amount of things she had to do before tomorrow. "I just have to wrap Tempest's thing before I call him." She mumbled cutting the paper.

He shut his door behind himself and got out a small box he had saved for recycling. He wrapped it in Snoopy Christmas paper after I put the trinket and card into the box.

She smiled at her wrapping job, a small box wrapped in silver paper with red dots. She stood up, and carried it over to the small table top tree, placing it under the branches. "There, now for the others." She sighed looking at the clock. "It's getting late though…" She mumbled pulling her phone out calling Tempest.

"How you doin'?" Tempest responded as he picked up, imitating Joey's voice from Friends

"Oh my gosh." She laughed rubbing her face. "I'm assuming that means you're OK." Pacing around the room, she held her phone with her shoulder. "Are you back yet?"

He let out a yawn "Yeah I'm back drinking some cider. Christ you sound stressed."

"Extremely." She muttered picking up the few she had already wrapped. Placing them aside she sighed and looked back at what was left. "I still have a ton to do before I can even think about sleep."
