"Then let's get going." Indra said, increasing his pace.
"Then let's get going." Indra said, increasing his pace.
Carrio stopped him with a hand. "If you rush, you'll drop a book and damage it. Slow down."
"I've learned to be increasingly careful, having claws in all." Indra said, going back to sorting books eith a more organized approach.
"Books are delicate, even if you're the most careful person on the planet they will drop. Be careful." Carrio returned to his gentle, yet the swift pace of sorting books.
"I get it." Indra said, finishing a shelf.
Carrio pushed the cart. "That's all of them for Fictional History. Now on to Children's."
Indra made a gentle beeline over there.
"So this is being a bookkeeper?" Indra asked.
Carrio hummed. "Pretty much. It's a rather slow day."
"This is rathwr nice." Indra said, starting to organize books. "It's quite a bit better than working in a bar."
Carrio sighed. "It must get annoying with all of those prying eyes." Carrio hated attention to himself.
"Not so much… It's just thst everyone's a psin in the ass." Indra explained. "I'm tired of having to put people in their place."
Carrio sighed. "That's drunkards for you, Indra. Let's get this done, yeah?"
Yeah." Indra said, sorting steadfastly. "Let's finish up."
Carrio joined him, and soon the mass of books were sorted. Carrio stretched out, glancing around.
"Well, that didn't take nearly as long as I anticipated, but you may leave now, if you'd like."
"Why don't we find a place to get a bite to eat?" Indra suggested, not wanting to push the idea on Carrio.
Carrio pushed the cart back to the desk. “Sure. Sounds good. Where were you thinking?”
"You like sushi?" Indra asked, flexing his fingers. The sound of strained leather caressed his ears.
Carrio grabbed his keys and looked around. “If it’s quick enough for lunch, sure.”
"You got wheels?" Indra asked, re-buttoning his suit, and surveying the area.
“Yes I do.” Carrio sounded slightly annoyed by Indra’s slang term but didn’t address it.
"What kind?" He asked, walking to his Harley. He got on, and started to put his helmet (slightly designed to appear to have ears [like Celty's, from Durarara!!] up top.)
Carrio pressed his key button and unlocked an Avalon ‘14. “A car.”
"Cool." Indra said. "Follow me." Je called, riding out of the parking lot.
Carrio got into the car, buckled in and drove after him, sighing. He turned up the radio and hummed along with it as he tailed Indra’s cycle.
A few turns- not even that many mind you- and they were at the sushi place.
Indra got off, seeing Carrio pull in after him.
