Well, I suppose we haven't really got anywhere else to go, have we? Lucas thought, glancing up at Robin Hood. He looked over at Susan and the Doctor to see what they would say.

"Erm….. yes." the Doctor said slowly. Susan gave a frown of protest but said nothing.

Deleted user

"Yes, I suppose…. we…. are." Susan trailed off. She looked to Pit. "I suppose you probably wish to leave now. I won't stop you." she said.

@Fraust

"Well, I think you people are fascinating! Also, I can't fly… so even if I wanted to leave, I couldn't."

Deleted user

"Well, feel free to tag along!" the Doctor grinned. Susan groaned internally.

@Fraust

"Alright, I'm sure Lady Palutena won't miss me for too long…" Pit glanced at the sky before following the group.

Robin Hood led them to a camp, where young and older men alike were sitting around, cheerful but anxious. "Alas, men, I have returned! Allow me to introduce you to my new friends, the good Doctor and the fair lady Susan, and the children who accompany them." Robin Hood said, waving them into the camp.

@Fraust

Pit waved to the men cheerfully, still following. Lucas kept silent and close to Susan, looking around the camp nervously. There were a lot of people here.
(If you can't tell, Pit's very upbeat and bubbly and Lucas is very shy lol)

"Well, you really are Robin Hood and his merry men." Susan said. The Doctor smiled and have a small wave to the group, feeling slightly awkward.

@Fraust

"I like these people. They're happy." Pit smiled, looking around. "They're… certainly something." Lucas added, fidgeting with his hand.

"Aye, that is an apt description! What say you, lads? Are we indeed merry men?" Robin Hood laughed. The other men chuckled and shouted "Aye!" as Susan rolled her eyes. "If you will excuse me for a moment, fair lady." Robin Hood said, turning to his group. "The Sheriff of Nottingham has issued a proclamation that tomorrow there is to be a contest to find the best archer in the land!" he bellowed, earning cheerful laughter from his friends. "And the bounty is to be a arrow of solid gold!"

@Fraust

An archer? Pit thought. Hey! I'm an archer! I probably shouldn't participate in human's contests, though. It wouldn't be fair. He twirled his bow between his fingers, watching the group of 'merry men'.

Deleted user

"But of course, a contest to find the best archer in the land… there is no contest!" Robin Hood laughed as his men cheered and whistled. "Wow, so humble." Susan muttered sarcastically.

@Fraust

"Really? I thought he was rather full of himself." Pit said, clearly not catching the sarcasm. "I'd like to go head to head with him, just see how it feels to be beaten by a child."

Deleted user

"Listen, have you ever read the stories about Robin Hood?" Susan hissed. "This is obviously the trap. And we can't change stories, and if this is really real it's history, which we also can't change. Which means we're in quite a predicament."

@Fraust

"I haven't read them, but I'll take your word for it. And I assume we can't change anything because it'll create some rift in the time space continuum or something? Change everything in the future so that we weren't even born? Yeah, messing with time is risky stuff."

Deleted user

"Well, I'm not really from around here so I'm not sure how it would affect me. It's uncertain death, much worse than certain death." she said.

@Fraust

"Yeah…" Pit thought for a moment, fidgeting with his wings. "I dunno, seems strange that he's so renowned when he's so… cocky."

Deleted user

"Honestly, a little confidence never hurt anyone." the Doctor said. "Doctor, listen. No matter what bad things this will do to history, we need to interfere with the contest." Susan said.

@Fraust

"What?" Lucas suddenly spoke up. "We can't do that! Who knows what all it'll do? One little tweak to something in history could have catastrophic consequences in our own time!" Pit flipped his bow in the air and caught it. "I agree with blondie. If you're seriously planning on changing something, you better have a really, really good reason to."

Deleted user

"Well, Robin Hood is a myth. And if we are very, very careful, we might find out what's going on here." the Doctor said.

@Fraust

"But what if we mess up? You two can travel through time all you want, but things could be very bad when I get back home. What are you even planning on doing, anyways?" Lucas asked.

Deleted user

"We're, well, I am, going to do a thing quite possibly quite soon." the Doctor said, in the tone of someone who thought that was a legitimate plan.

@Fraust

"That's… not very specific." "Yeah, I'm afraid I can't possibly allow you to do anything without, at the very least, knowing what it is you're doing."
