The Doctor walked off to sit in the small crowd that had gathered for Alison's wedding, but the Master walked back over to where Alison was putting the finishing touches on her outfit. "Miss Cheney, are you alright?" he asked her. "No, actually. I'm mortified. What if I mess up my vows? Or trip? I'm terrified of this, to be honest." she admitted. "Miss Cheney, there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Now, shall I walk you down the aisle, or do you wish to leave your husband-to-be waiting for someone who does not intend to show up?" he asked. "Bacon crisp our lard and savor, no need to act so standoffish. God, what's even up with you? Most of the time you're fine, but I can never tell whether you actually even like me or care about me most of the time. Even compliments turn into condescending remarks with you." she scolded. "Miss Cheney, I do not wish to offend. But this is a big moment for you, and I do not intend to let you down, nor have you let me down. Now come, once this is over you'll look back and wonder how you could have possibly been so scared, believe me." he consoled her, holding out an arm. Alison gripped the android's arm tightly, as if she would lose balance if she didn't. She walked out to the entrance of the chapel, and when her cue was called, she walked in, the Master leading her slowly up the aisle. She caught the Doctor's eye in the crowd, he gave Alison a small wave, and eventually she reached the altar. She saw Joe, he was a tall, reasonably muscular man, with blond hair and kind grey-green eyes, as well as a light tan. She smiled, they said their vows, and when the words "you may now kiss the bride" were uttered, she gratefully leaned in, kissing him passionately, a passion he returned. "I love you." he mouthed to her, Alison's eyes sparkled with faint tears of joy.
