"And risk looking like a JoJo character? No thanks." he chuckles.
"And risk looking like a JoJo character? No thanks." he chuckles.
Luc frowns, confused, “Ah. . . What is JoJo?” He tilts his head looking very confused.
Tristan freezes and then bursts into hysterical laughter.
"I forgot, there are no JoJo references in the U.K. Sorry. It's an anime." he explains.
Luv nods, "Ahh. . . Ok."
Tristan tilts his head appraisingly - though he couldn't see anything to appraise.
"Do you even know what anime is?" he asks.
Luc nods, "Yes, yes I do." He huffs, " I'm not that much of an imbecile. "
Tristan giggles.
"Wow, such a large word." he teases.
Lucas huffs, "Stop being an ass Tris." He smiles though.
"To be fair, I'm a hot ass. Both metaphorically and literally." he grins.
Luv hums siftly, "Well. . . I can't disagree."
"No, of course you can't." Tristan replies cheekily.
Luc rolls his eyes, "And you're an arrogant asshole too." He mutters.
"Oh, hush. You know you kinda enjoy it, otherwise you wouldn't be sitting here with me." he retorts playfully.
Lucas smirks, "Oh, I can just get up and walk away." He crosses his arms, " I'm secretly suffering inside. "
"Then that makes you a masochist. And besides, if you wanted to get up you would have done it already. You're looking forward to the food and alcohol too much to just leave." he chuckles.
Lucas huffs, "So what if I'm a masochist? And there are plenty of places I can go to get food and booze."
"Mm-hmmm, but the fact remains is that you chose this place, which means you want to eat here and nowhere else." he shrugs.
Lucas shrugs, "I only chose this place because it's said to be the best in all Ireland. This is going to cost me more than a month's pay. I can easily get the same food elsewhere at a lesser cost. I just wanted to see if the place for the rumors."
Tristan chuckles.
"I'll pay, don't worry." he says. "As for the food, it may not be the same. After all, this place has ingredients that othe rplaces don't have most likely, like truffle salt."
Lucas shrugs, "Eh. . ." He leans back
Tristan raises an eyebrow.
"So you're telling me that one of the most expensive seasonings just based off of what its made of alone is so commonplace in places like the U.K., and specifically Irish pubs and diners, that even places that have shitty food will have truffle salt?" he asks.
"No, that's not what I'm saying. I can't do all the. . . Luxury goods very often, and most of the time, I prefer a home cooked meal."
Tristan grins and laughs sheepishly.
"Ah. . . well I can do home cooked meals." he says thoughtfully.
"Homecooked is the best." Luc smes
Tristan nods.
"I wholeheartedly agree. But we already ordered our food, and I hate wasting things, so." he sighs.
