Cooper started hyperventilating, struggling against Jess's hold. Tears fell from his eyes as he heard gunshots, and he was brought back to the day his mother was shot, and then the time soon after that where he himself was shot.

Jess holds him tightly to her chest, climbing a tree holding him tightly. "Cooper…I can not lose you again….please…"She whimpers.

Gracie shot at the other guy again hitting the heart. It shot him in the heart. Just before it hit he shot again at her shooting her in the arm. She screeched in pain as she jumped and pierced another guy with a dager near the heart. He ripped it out throwing it back at her. She caught it in her hand hitting him in the heart but making her hand bleed.

"No… n-no… we have to…. we have t-to run…" Cooper sobbed, trying to get out of the tree to run again.

Jess sighs. "Cooper." Her voice was firm, but hard. "No…I will keep you safe..just…don't run…"

Cooper eventually gave up on struggling, breaking down and crying on Jess's shoulder. He turned into a cat and curled up into a ball, trembling violently.

Aaron collapses on the ground, a total of five gun wounds. Side, twice in his left leg, arm and shoulder. He groans, blood pooling around him.

Jess holds her nephew tightly, singing a calming and comforting song, shushing him gently. "Shhhh…Cooper…it's ok…I'm here for you…I'll keep you safe forever…"

Three people ganged up on her, "HEY this ain't a fair game!" she said going into the shadow of a tree seeming to disappear then reappeared with 2 friends from her clan who were also helping her with the assassination .

"Aaron!" Cooper screamed. Where is he?! Is he okay?! "Aaron!"

Jess holds him tightly to her body. "Not safe…I'll go check on him. Promise me you'll stay here…and please…be quiet…"

Aaron's body was stilling, his grip on his fan loosened, his eyes stare at the sky. His breathing was uneven and shallow. He coughs a little bit.

Cooper nodded, his breathing still shallow and quick. He clung to the tree branch, digging his claws into the bark and wrapping his tail around it.

Jess nods and jumps down, looking from him then running towards Aaron, kneeling next to him. "Aaron?"

Aaron looks at her, but he hisses in pain, shutting his eyes as pain wracks mercilessly through his body.

the three started hitting the men, "NO WEAPONS CHALLENGE!" Gracie yelled the men seemed to agree putting their guns down hitting her and her friends.

Jess looks worried. "Aaron…don't move…Cooper needs you in his life…I can stop the bleeding, but you need to relax…"

Jess cups her hands to her mouth, the name coming to her naturally. "Cooper!"

"W-What?" He called back, still clinging to the tree.

"Come over! It's safe…I promise…"

Aaron grabs her arm, "No… don't let… him see me… like this…" he whispers.

Jess looks surprised for a second, but nods, setting his arm down carefully. "Let's at least get you out of the open…"

Cooper cautiously made his way down the tree, staying in cat form. He crouched down and crawled to the clearing.

Jees hears the kit, not turning around. "Cooper…stay there…."

Gracie hit someone it the stomach them falling to the ground. Her friends had their humans down to. They each out their guns to their heads right before each trigger was pulled the humans hit their own triggers hitting Gracie. She hit the trigger killing one. After awhile each of her friends did the same.
