(Awesome!)
(Awesome!)
Asher yawned as he walked down the hallway, extremly tired from waking up early. Well, by early he meant noon, but still, he had stayed up late, so it counted as early. Seriously, whose great idea was it to have the window right over the bed, so the sunlight shines directly onto your face? He adjusted his beanie and strode into the kitchen, heading straight for the coffee maker.
Trinity tiptoed into the kitchen. She saw Asher and stopped.
Asher got the coffee maker started then leaned back against the counter. He rubbed the side of his head, hit with a sudden headache. He turned to go look for some painkillers when he saw Trinity. He jumped backwards, starteled from not seeing her sooner. After realising who it was, he bared his fangs and growled, "What are you looking at?"
Trinity shied away, looking at her feet. She whispered, barely audible, "Nothing."
Camilla walked into the kitchen to tend to one of her plants. "Don't be so mean Asher."
(I'm so sorry for being gone! We had a tornado watch where I am and the power was out for hours)
Caire came downstairs, a book held loosely in one hand. She had been awake for hours, of course, but had been reading rather than talking with her flatmates.
(Don’t be sorry for that! :<
I’m glad you’re alive.)
Trinity stayed near the back of the room, far away from Asher.
(It's still storming some, but hey; the WiFi's back and the lights are on so I'm good lol)
(Yay! See Trinity)
(Okay)
"Hey Trinity." Caire stood beside Trinity, watching her other flatmates arguing about… something. Quite frankly, she just didn't care about their quarrels. She didn't start them, and she didn't get involved in them.
"Hey," she said, but she was focusing on Asher intently. If he did anything, she would grab Caire and bolt.
"What did he do this time?" Caire flipped open her book, leafing through the pages until she seemed to have found where she left off.
"Fangs," Trinity whispered faintly.
(I just remembered that Caire and Trinity are sisters lol)
"Mmm…" She continued reading her book, leaning against the wall calmly. Asher had never really scared her, and she was always waiting for the right moment to strike back. Not aggressively, of course. Passive aggressive was much more her style, and making people feel stupid with her own wit.
Trinity inched closer to her sister. "What are you reading?"
Camilla started whispering things to her plant, and it moved, as if dancing.
"The Book Thief. Again. It's a really good book; you should read it sometime. It's based in world war two, Germany."
"I did, didn't I?" Trinity asked, slightly confused.
Caire shrugged. "If you did, you didn't tell me. You would have probably had to borrow it from my bookshelf."
((Hi y'all, I'm back! Glad to hear you're okay Fraust!))
Asher growled again at the others, "Fight me." He turned and started to rumage through the cupboards. Finally, he managed to find a bottle of painkillers. He dumped a bunch of them into his hand and slammed them down. After swallowing the pills he turned back to wait for his coffee to finish, pure anger and irratation radiating off of him.
Trinity flinched when the dark aura neared her. She pushed a pulsing calm aura back hopefully.
"Ash, you do know that it's not safe to take that many painkillers, right?" Caire said calmly. "You could fall into a coma, have a heart attack, and many other possibilities."
(I like Caire.)
