(Kk! One sec!)
(Sorry if I disappear again, I have a few things to do today.)
It's fine!
Rosanna walked out to the courtyard and sat on a bench. She hoped Angelo could meet up with her so they could make a plan to investigate.
Angelo adjusted his satchel as he walked out from under the stone archways of the school's hallways, glancing behind him as he did so. He had been looking through a teacher's stacks of papers for an evidence earlier, and in doing so had a narrow escape with Ms. Cardoso. A few lies helped him out of the situation, but he didn't have much luck with the papers. Looking forward again, he spotted his twin sister's dark locks of hair in its usual bun and sped up his pace. Hopefully, she had found something interesting.
"Angelo! You're late." she said.
"I'm always late. I thought you knew that by now, Rosanna," Angelo sighed, but a small smile tugged the corners of his lips up as he sat down next to her. One of his hands combed through his messy, dark hair as he looked around the courtyard. Though he didn't enjoy the heat outside, at least no one was around.
"Well, have you found anything? I sure haven't." Rosanna said.
"I looked through a few of Ms. Cardoso's papers, but she scolded me before I could read them," Angelo explained as he thought back towards the parchments and the smudged ink on most of them. "If I catch you in here again Angelo, I will have your head!" He added, changing his pitch to something high pitched and squeaky to imitate their teacher.
Rosanna laughed. "Sorry, I know that isn't funny, but the impression…." she broke off into hysterical laughter.
"What can I say…I'm a great impressionist," Angelo answered, a small grin spreading across his face as he watched Rosanna laugh. "So, did you see or hear anything interesting today?" He asked, leaning forward faintly in curiosity as he looked towards his sister.
"No, nothing. I feel like we should investigate later tonight."
"We should," Angelo agreed, nodding in addition as he leaned back against a stone pillar in the courtyard. He sighed a little, happy that it provided a little shade from the sun. "Where should we try to go to? A classroom?"
"No, let's go where it's forbidden. Signora Francesca's office. We could get better information than anywhere else there."
Angelo nodded in agreement as he glanced around the courtyard, hearing a few faint voices coming from the older classes. He ignored them after a few moments, deciding that it was only gossip.
"So, did you find much?"
"Barely anything. I'm guessing that they were just old projects and test scores," Angelo answered as he glanced back over at his sister.
"Oh." she said, sighing.
"We'll find something tonight," Angelo added in an attempt to assure Rosanna. They couldn't give up on anything now that they had gotten into Signora Francesca's School.
(Okay, so timeskip or no?)
(We can timeskip.)
It was night. Rosanna snuck into the boy's wing and woke up Angelo. "Come on!" she whispered.
"Rosanna?" Angelo whispered hurriedly as he pushed himself up from the bed, fumbling to grab his cap and satchel. The boy's wing was unnaturally quiet, but he ignored it and focused on getting out of the room silently.
"Well don't wait up! Got in through the window, they normally lock up after curfew hours."
