@Natasha
Soon, Cameron was at school, though Madeline was on his mind the entire time.
Soon, Cameron was at school, though Madeline was on his mind the entire time.
Why can't I stop thinking about him? Madeline wondered as she finished eating her breakfast. I mean, I know he's my best friend and all, but he's been on my mind more and more recently…
She shook her head and grabbed her plate and fork to put them in the sink.
(Lol this is gold)
Cameron finally got out of his classes, then he ran to get Madeline's assignments and drove to her house. Once there, he quickly knocked on the door.
(Right???)
Madeline got up from the couch, where she was binge watching Agents of SHIELD, and made her way over to the door.
"Hey, Cam," she greeted her friend with a warm smile. "Come on in. I was just being lazy."
Cameron smiled as he walked in. "Being lazy is good right now Mads. Be lazy."
"Ugh, but I don't like it," Madeline complained, moving to go back to her couch. She plopped down and sprawled out on it, stretching herself across it the long way.
Cameron laughed. "It sucks I know. But you'll get better soon, I promise. You just have to take it easy for a while."
Madeline shot Cameron a wry smile, then started coughing.
"I…hate…this," she choked out between coughing.
Cameron sighed. "Take it easy Madeline."
"I've…been taking it easy…all day," Madeline coughed. "It's…hard."
"I know it is Maddi. Believe me. What do you want me to do?"
"Water? Please?" Madeline rasped, squeezing her eyes shut tight.
Cameron walked into the kitchen and returned with a bottle of water.
Madeline nodded her thanks before grabbing the water and gulping it down.
"Thanks," she whispered.
Cameron nodded. "Of course Maddi."
Madeline smiled at him and say up, making room for him on the couch.
"You can sit if you want," she said, patting the space beside her.
Cameron sat down and smiled at Madeline.
"Nothing to say, Cam-Cam?" Madeline teased, nudging him playfully.
Cameron smirked. "Nope, nothing."
Madeline giggled a bit, nudging him again. "We could finish our movie?"
Cameron nodded. "Of course."
Madeline reached over to the coffee table and grabbed the remote, pulling up the movie and starting it where they left off. She set the remote back on the table and leaned back into the couch, letting her head rest on Cameron's shoulder.
Cameron smiled and put his head back on Madeline's shoulder.
(Should we skip to the end of the movie?)
(Sure ting)
